Sunny And Warm Today
Dry air will continue flowing into East Texas, keeping skies sunny today. High temperatures will stay near 80 degrees and lows near 60 degrees through the weekend and into next week. The next chance of showers and thunderstorms in East Texas will come Friday and Saturday with the approach of a closed low pressure area. That low will move into West Texas today and cross the state early in the weekend. Mother’s Day looks mostly sunny. A trough of low pressure in the upper flow will bring another round of showers and thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday.
