Breaking: Tyler ISD Announces New John Tyler Football Coach
Ricklan Holmes, a former John Tyler High School standout and current assistant football coach, will be the new John Tyler football coach, Tyler ISD officials announced on Tuesday.
He replaces Dereck Rush who recently took a similar position at Conroe ISD's Oak Ridge High School.
Holmes was a standout at Oklahoma State University where he earned a degree in business administration. He also spent three years with the New England Patriots.
