I am writing in regard to the upcoming election for the sale of alcohol in Smith County.

I had the privilege of being the secretary to the district attorney of three counties. During this time, two counties were dry and one county was wet. All of the trouble encountered was from the wet county.

All these claims about “good” from the sale of these products do not ring true. This is just a word of wisdom from one who has been there and seen this from the side of the law. Keep our county dry.
