Ex-Super Bowl Host CEO Lively To Speak May 14
Bill Lively Sr., president and CEO of the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee for the 2011 game, will be the guest speaker May 14 for a Parents Anonymous of Tyler Inc. event at Hollytree Country Club.

A sponsor and host reception will be at 4:30 p.m., followed by Lively speaking and a question-and-answer session starting at 5 p.m.

During Lively’s tenure, his center raised more than $334 million to build the venues, including 129 gifts of $1 million or more.

He also has raised more than $280 million for Southern Methodist University, where he has served as vice president of development and founded the Willis M. Tate Distinguished Lecture Series, the John Goodwin Tower Center for Political Studies, the Doak Walker National Running Back Award and SMU’s Athletic Forum.

Between 1975 and 1988, he served with Tex Schramm and Tom Landry as director of the Dallas Cowboys’ Band. He was producer of Cowboys Game Day Entertainment from 1980 through 1997.

He also worked with Jerry Jones as the Dallas Cowboys executive entertainment producer. He also produced entertainment for Super Bowls XII and XIII.

Seating prices range from $40 to $1,000 for a reserved table of eight.
