Fatal One-Car Accident Also Leaves Three Injured In Wood County
One woman died as the result of a one-car accident in Wood County Thursday afternoon.
Mineola Fire Department spokesman Steve Finley said four adults were traveling on County Road 2231 near Mineola when they apparently lost control of the car and struck a bridge near Key's Creek.
One woman was declared dead at the scene and three other people were being treated for injuries, he said.
The cause of the accident was still under investigation, he said.
