Raves, Rants & Roses

Many Thanks, April 29
ROSES: I will preface this to explain that my husband is a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict (War). He was in the U.S. Navy and wears a hat that shows the destroyer he served on during the Korean War. When we are out in public, many people come to him, shake his hand and thank him for his service.
He really appreciates this gesture.

Today we were having lunch at a new local Chinese restaurant and as we were leaving a lady approached him, thanking him for his service, and presented him with a gift certificate for dinner at another local restaurant. She stated that her son was serving in the U.S. Army now, and they were honoring the veterans for their sacrifice.

This company is the Calvary Plumbing Company here in Tyler. We wish to thank them publicly for their generous gift. We are honored and will keep their son and all the young men/women in our prayers to bring them home safe and sound. God bless America and God bless all who serve.
