I think the idea of a wet/dry election in Tyler is a wonderful thing. Nothing pretties up a town like a few well placed liquor stores. May I suggest (if it passes of course) that one be put outside of the Hollytree addition, over there close to Brookshire’s Fresh store? Thousands travel up and down Old Jacksonville Highway daily, so it is an excellent location.
Maybe one of those giant, blow-up red dogs, or a variation on the theme that I saw once while passing through some small Texas town, a big blue gorilla, could be placed on the roof top to attract attention to the liquor store. Yes. Very attractive.
