Ex-Cowboys Greats Aikman, Smith Set To Join Other Speakers At Event
Former Dallas Cowboys greats Emmitt Smith and Troy Aikman will join a host of other speakers in Tyler on May 16 for Refresh Leadership.
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Tyler to bring the free, live event at Green Acres Baptist Church CrossWalk Center. It will be simulcast to nearly 200 locations across the country.
Express Employment Professionals Tyler franchisee Rocky Gill said Tuesday that nearly 1,200 people already have registered to attend, and although space is limited, he said, "We think we will be able to get everyone in the room who wants to go."
The last day to register is May 2.
Smith and Aikman will discuss Hall of Fame Leadership at the event. Other speakers include leadership consultant, speaker and best-selling author Patrick Lencioni, who will speak on The Five Temptations of a Leader; sociologist and author Dr. Bertice Berry, who will speak about Finding Your Purpose; and several employment experts from Express Employment Professionals.
The event is designed to motivate, educate and inspire business leaders, human resource professionals, chamber of commerce officials and members. Breakfast begins at 6:45 a.m. and the program starts at 7:45 a.m.
