Fit City Challenge, a coalition that promotes making smart health and fitness choices, is encouraging East Texans to "know your numbers" by regularly seeing a doctor.
"Your doctor measures the way your body is functioning using numerical values such as blood pressure, heart rate, body mass index (BMI) and others. When your doctor tells you your numbers, ask for suggestions on how to get them closer to acceptable ranges, if they aren't already," according to its latest announcement.
