Stanton Reunion Slated July 6-8
The Stanton All School Reunion is set for July 6 to 8 at Harvey Convention Center in Tyler, said Mildred Stewart Willis, one of the organizers.
Stanton was an African-American school district that became part of Whitehouse ISD.
The theme is "Standing Together Always: Remembering Stanton."
The reunion headquarters will be Quality Hotel in Tyler. A registration fee is due by May 15.
The planning committee will meet at 6 p.m. April 22, at New Bethel Baptist Church in Flint, Mrs. Willis said.
