U.S. Postal Service OKs Use Of ‘Coffee City' In Address
Residents of Coffee City can use Coffee City as the last line of their mailing address under a change approved by the U.S. Postal Service, according to an announcement by Margaret Branch of the address management systems Dallas District of the postal service.
In the past, Coffee City residents had to use Frankston as the last line of their address.
That was confusing to a lot of people and the Chandler Economic Development Corp. worked with the postal service to get approval of the address change, Angela Jones, city secretary, said.

Residents can continue to use the zip number of 75763, which they have been using.
Residents who use Coffee City as the last line must use the correct zip code of 75763 for their mail delivery area, Ms. Branch said.

The mail can experience delays and be misdirected if the complete and correct mailing address is not used, she said.
The economic development corporation also wanted a post office established in the town but that did not work out, Ms. Jones said.
