Gift Shop / Garden Center Has Grand Opening In Downtown Tyler Saturday

Laughing Leaf, a unique gift shop and garden center, is celebrating its grand opening in downtown Tyler Saturday.
Laughing Leaf has been open for a little more than a week and Dory's Garden will be open for business Saturday, co-owner Susanne Hansen said. Customers will receive a free gift with each purchase from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A dedication and prayer will be held at 6:30 p.m.
Laughing Leaf features “urban chic” home décor and furniture, including water fountains, potted indoor plants and custom gift baskets. Other services include home organization and re-design, personal shopper and event planning.
Dory’s Gardens is a design and resource center providing inspiration and projects for landscapes with an artistic flair. As a professional landscaper, co-owner Dory Hersey will be complimenting her existing business, Welcome Home Landscapes, with the downtown location, in the alley beside Laughing Leaf, 724 S. Bois D’Arc Ave. Urban gardening solutions, water-wise and edible plants, pottery, metal yard art, water features and other items will be offered for sale. Business hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
