Woman Died Of 'Homicidal Violence,' Pathologist Testifies
A pathologist testified this morning during a pretrial hearing for Kimberly Cargill, the Whitehouse woman accused in the capital murder of Cherry Walker in June 2010.
Dr. Meredith Lann, who performed the autopsy on Ms. Walker, testified in the Smith County 241st District Court that she was not able to determine an exact cause of death for Ms. Walker, but said that Ms. Walker had died of homicidal violence because her body was found face-down in a remote field and had been burned.
Ms. Walker had been scheduled to testify in a child custody hearing against Ms. Cargill when her body was found.
