Winnsboro 26, Pittsburg 20
WINNSBORO -- Winnsboro Red Raiders got touchdown runs from four backs in a 26-20 win over Pittsburg Friday.

Winnsboro (2-0) scored back-to-back touchdowns in the first quarter. The first came on an 80-yard run by Ashton Slaughter with 10:39 remaining.

Sean Ditto scored on a 7-yard run with 8:45 left in the quarter to put the Red Rains up 14-0.

The Pirates (1-1) got back in the game with 6:19 left in the first on a 1-yard run by Ted Burns.

Winnsboro opened its lead to 20-7 in the second quarter on a 32-yard touchdown carry by Zack Allen.

Pittsburg put up six more in the third on a 7-yard TD pass from Mitch Manley to Nadell Richardson with 6:06.

Winnsboro got breathing room with 10:24 left in the fourth, scoring on a 1-yard run by Collin Garrett to lead 26-20.

Pittsburg put up a late score in the fourth on a 22-yard pass from Manley to Chris Brown.
