Being a kid during the Depression, I have seen what America can do, and also what Americans will do in a crisis or time of need.

The American empire is not over, it is only beginning. We will continue as the greatest nation on earth, by far.

America’s military forces may be stretched in some areas. However, it is the greatest on the planet, and it is supported by the strongest Air Force, which has the deadliest firepower ever assembled. America is no bully; force must be used in order to protect the place we are all so lucky to call home. We negotiate through strength.

To those who say America is finished, I saw to them, “Take a good look at us in five year. We will overcome.”
