AARP To Host 3 Driving Courses
Three AARP Driver Safety Courses are scheduled in Tyler.
The times and dates are: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 6, 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 8 and 9, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 15 and 16.
The course is for people 50 and older. AARP membership is not required. The course covers effects of aging and medication on driving skills, driving rules and crash prevention.
The fee is $10. Those who complete the course may be eligible for a discount on automobile insurance.
To enroll in the Sept. 6 course, call 903-589-4461 or 903-721-1881. To enroll in the Sept. 8-9 course, call 903-533-1228 or 903-589-4461. To enroll in the Sept. 15-16 course, call 903-589-4461 or 903-721-1881.
