August 24: Bad Example
RANT: On Wednesday, Aug. 20, I had the misfortune of offering to take our granddaughter to John Tyler High School to register for classes. It was to start at 9 a.m. for students A-D. At 9:35 a.m. they still had not started the registering process of the students and the 10 a.m. students were starting to arrive.

What is this telling us?

That it is OK for the faculty to be late but not the students. What would happen to the students if they were 35 minutes late for class?

Would they be suspended, marked as absent or have to make-up time after class. The ones who organized this day were not organized and did not set an example for punctually to the students.
