August 23: Protect Nature During Tyler Growth
With its hills and forests East Texas is a naturally beautiful area.

I was encouraged that the architect of the new Tyler Museum of Art said he wanted "to show how architecture and nature work together."

What an enlightened approach to building and development - to work with the natural beauty of the area. Sadly, the standard approach to development in Tyler is too often to clear-cut all trees and bulldoze the hills into flatness.

Really smart development would take advantage of rather than destroy the natural beauty of the land. Tyler is going to grow - let's be smart about.
