Hawkins Tops Troup In Volleyball Action
HAWKINS -- Courtnee Davis had 15 kills and 29 digs to lead Hawkins to a 3-1 victory over Troup on Tuesday night in volleyball action.
The Lady Hawks went 88 out of 94 from the service line and won the match 25-8, 25-19, 15-25, 25-19. Kylee Little had three aces and Katherine Montgomery was next with two. Brianna Simmons was 25 of 26 from the service line, and also had five kills.
Little also contributed 20 assists and five kills.
Hawkins entertains Overton on Friday. The JV match will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity.
Troup's junior varsity team beat Hawkins in two games, 27-25, 25-8.
