Tyler's Marisa Quevedo earned a berth in the Girls 12 Singles final of the Bob Faulkner Junior Major Zone Tennis Tournament.

After winning her semifinal match, Quevedo fell in the championship to Elena Muller of Dallas, 6-4, 6-2 at Tyler Tennis & Swim Club.

Quevedo advanced to the final with a 6-3, 6-4 win over top seed Caroline Turner of Frisco.

Others winning titles were Alexander Rive of Fort Worth (Boys 12 Singles), Ryan Meek of Plano (Boys 14 Singles A), Mario Sandoval of Garland (14 Singles B), Katya Salas of Trophy club (Girls 14 Singles A) and Karly Garland of Lubbock (14 Singles B).
