Inmate Found Hanged in Kilgore City Jail
KILGORE (AP) -- Texas Rangers will help investigate the death of a Kilgore City Jail inmate.

The Department of Public Safety says 22-year-old William Ray Parker was found hanged Tuesday. Investigators believe Parker took his own life.

An autopsy will be done.

Parker was booked Friday on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and on outstanding traffic warrants.

Kilgore police referred questions to DPS.
