The L.V. Jones Gas Unit Well No. 7 will be drilled 1.4 miles northwest of Fairfield in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Shepherd, H Survey, A-34, drilled by XTO Energy Inc.
XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Irvin Gas Unit Well No. 11, the Irvin Gas Unit Well No. 12, the Williford "A" Gas Unit Well No. 4 and the Williford "A" Gas Unit Well No. 5 in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 11 well will be located 3.4 miles east of Teague and the No. 12 well will be located 3.3 miles east of Teague. Both of these wells will bottom at 13,200 feet in the Jessup, I Survey, A-335. The No. 4 and the No. 5 wells will be located 2.7 miles west of Fairfield in the Reed, I H Survey, A-23. Both of these wells will bottom at 12,900 feet.
The Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field will see the Bell Gas Unit Well No. 6 and the T.C. Oakes Estate Gas Unit Well No. 2 drilled by XTO Energy Inc. The No. 6 well will be located 4.3 miles southwest of Teague in the Ferguson, J Survey, A-227 and will bottom at 13,400 feet. The No. 2 well will be located 3.5 miles northwest of Donie in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-10 and will bottom at 13,700 feet.
Angelina County
In a lease 3.07 miles southeast of Wells in the Raintree (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Crossman, P.G. Et Al Well No. 6 will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. It will hit 15,568 feet in the Hendenstrom, A Survey, A-333.
Gregg County
Anadarko E&P Co. LP will drill the Buford & Blow G.U. 3 Well No. 13 in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. Location will be 11.7 miles southeast of Longview in the Walling, J Survey, A-239. Total depth will be 12,000 feet.
Harrison County
The Bivins Zeigler Gas Unit Well No. 3 will be drilled by EnerVest Operating LLC in a wildcat field. It will be located 6.5 miles southwest of Hallsville in the McCarty, D F Survey, A-460 with a depth of 11,500 feet. It may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field.
GMX Resources Inc. will the drill the Callison Well No. 7D in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. It will bottom at 11,800 feet in the Smith, W Survey, A-21, and be located 11 miles southeast of Marshall.
In a lease 4.9 miles north of Harleton in the Whelan (Cotton Valley) Field, the Jones Well No. 2 will be drilled by Encore Operating LP to 11,700 feet in the Earp, J Survey, A-230. It may also be drilled in the Whelan (Pettit) Field or the Whelan (Travis Peak Prorated) Field.
The Agnor Well No. 6H will be drilled 4.6 miles southeast of Jefferson in a wildcat field to a depth of 14,000 feet by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP in the Sheldon, S Survey, A-627. It may also be drilled in the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Woodlawn (Travis Peak) Field, the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field or the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field.
In a lease six miles southwest of Marshall in the Blocker (Cotton Valley) Field, the Blalock "A" Well No. 11 will be drilled by NFR Energy LLC to 13,000 feet in the Wilson, F Survey, A-795. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field or the Blocker (Travis Peak 6910 Sand) Field.
GMX Resources Inc. is preparing to drill the Blocker Heirs Well No. 31D in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Ussury, M S Survey, A-722. Location will be 8.5 miles southeast of Marshall. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field, the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field.
Leon County
The Gastar Wildman Trust Well No. 4 will be drilled 6.7 miles southwest of Flynn in a wildcat field. It will bottom at 20,000 feet in the Viesca, JM Survey, A-30 drilled by Gastar Exploration Texas LP. It may also be drilled in the Hilltop Resort (Knowles) Field, the Hilltop Resort (Bossier) Field or the Hilltop (Pettit) Field.
Limestone County
In a lease 12.3 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field, the Kennedy "A" Well No. 5 will be drilled by XTO Energy Inc. It will bottom a 13,400 feet in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4.
The Rickard Gas Unit Well No. 16 will be drilled 14.9 northwest of Jewett in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. It will hit 13,700 feet, drilled by O'Benco Inc., and will lie in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4. It may also be drilled in the Freestone (Travis Peak) Field, a wildcat field or the Navasota (Pettit) Field.
O'Benco Inc will drill the Bobby Reed Gas Unit Well No. 27 and the Sims, Alton Well No. 22 in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 27 well will be located 14.1 miles northwest of Jewett. The No. 22 will be located 14 miles northwest of Jewett. Total depth will be 13,700 feet in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4. The No. 22 may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Freestone (Travis Peak) Field or the Navasota (Pettit) Field.
The Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field will see the Jimmy Beddingfield Gas Unit NOII Well No. 2 drilled by XTO Energy Inc. It will bottom at 15,500 feet 18.2 miles east of Thornton in the Rejon, M C Survey, A-26. It may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field or the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field.
Marion County
The Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field will see the O.G. Murphys Heirs Well No. 1H drilled by Wagner & Brown Ltd. Location will be three miles northeast of Karnack in the SA&MG RR Co. Survey, A-363, and it will bottom at 13,500 feet.
Nacogdoches County
The Christian "F" Well No. 2H will be located 3.9 miles west of Nacogdoches in the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field. It will be drilled by Marathon Oil Co. to 14,000 feet in the Sibley, H Survey, A-511. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
Exxon Mobil Corp. will drill the Trawick Gas Unit 19 Well No. 9 in the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field. This well will be located 5.62 miles southeast of Cushing with a depth of 9,800 feet in the Sanchez, L Survey, A-50. It may also be drilled in the Trawick (Pettit) Field, a wildcat field or the Trawick (James) Field.
In a lease 14.5 miles north of Nacogdoches, Burk Royalty Co. Ltd. will drill the Jeannine Crump Well No. 2 to 11,500 feet in a wildcat field. It will lie in the J H Hyde Survey, A-273, and may also be in the Naconiche Creek (Cotton Valley) Field, Naconiche Creek (Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated)Field or the Wanders Creek (Travis Peak) Field.
The James Lewis Gas Unit 1 Well No. 3 will be drilled 10 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field to 12,000 feet by the Samson Lone Star LLC. It will lie in the De Los Santos Coy, M & Bros. Survey, A-21 and may also be drilled in the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field or a wildcat field.
Samson Lone Star LLC will drill the Blackstone-Lock GU 1 Well No. 3 in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field. Location will be 10.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the De Los Santos Coy, M & Bros. Survey, A-21. It will bottom at 12,000 feet and may also be drilled in the Trawick (Pettit) Field.
A wildcat field will see the Strong Gas Unit Well No. 15 drilled by Chesapeake Operating Inc. 3.3 miles northwest of Mayo in the Walker, W C Survey, A-596 with a depth of 14,000 feet. It may also be drilled in the Naconiche Creek (Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or the Naconiche Creek (Cotton Valley) Field.
Indigo Minerals LLC will drill the M.K. Marshall GU Well No. 4 in a wildcat field. It will be located 13.1 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Sacco, M Survey, A-49, with a depth of 11,000 feet. The well may also be drilled in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field or the Douglass, West (Pettit Middle) Field.
Navarro County
In a lease 5.9 miles east of Corsicana in the Powell (Smackover) Field, the Humphries Well No. 2 will be drilled by O'Ryan Oil and Gas. Total depth will be 9,500 feet in the Smith, J Survey, A-726.
O'Ryan Oil and Gas will also drill the Cerf Well No. 2 in the Powell (Smackover) Field. It will be located 6.1 miles east of Corsicana in the Smith, J Survey, A-726 with a depth of 9,500 feet.
Panola County
The Hemby Well No. 1 will be drilled seven miles southeast of Easton in a wildcat field. NFR Energy LLC will take the well to 13,000 feet, and it will lie in the Reel, J Survey, A-564. It may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field, Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field, and Tatum, North (Travis Peak) Field.
Devon Energy Production Co. LP will drill the Thomas, Charles Well No. 16, the Williamson Well No. 24 and the Burton, John W. Well No. 21 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 16 well will be located 7.2 miles southwest of Carthage in the Parker, M Survey, A-527 and will bottom at 12,000 feet. The No. 24 well will be located 4.19 miles southwest of Carthage in the Graves, G N Survey, A-238 and will bottom at 12,500 feet. The No. 21 well will be located 6.8 miles southwest of Carthage in the Parker, M Survey, A-527 and will bottom at 12,500 feet.
XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Mayo Williams Heirs Well No. 10 to 10,700 feet in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. It will be located 1.1 miles southwest of Beckville in the Williams, J A Survey, A-717.
The Hamilton, D.K. Well No. 1 will be drilled 5.5 miles southwest of Clayton in the Carthage, South (Travis Peak) Field. It will bottom at 10,000 feet in the McAdams, J Survey, A-436, drilled by Basa Resources Inc. EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. will drill four new wells. The South Ingram Well No. 1 will be drilled 10.2 miles southeast of Franklin in the Hilltop Resort (Bossier) Field and will lie in the Viesca, J M Survey, A-46. Total depth will be 19,000 feet. The Southworth Well No. 1 will be drilled 11.6 miles northeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field and will lie in the Viesca, J M Survey, A-46. Total depth will be 16,500 feet. The Kraemer Enterprises LLC Well No. 1 will be drilled 8.9 miles southeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field and will lie in the Moss, H W Survey, A-235. Total depth will be 16,500 feet. The McLean F Well No. 3 will be drilled 11.2 miles northeast of Franklin in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field and will lie in the Pereira, P/Grande, J & M Survey, A-32. Total depth will be 19,000 feet.
Rusk County
In a lease 4.1 miles northwest of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field, the Fahle Well No. 28 will be drilled by Fidelity Exploration & Production Co. It will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Orrick, W Survey, A-613.
Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. will prepare to drill the Trawick Gas Unit 57 Well No. 101 in a wildcat field. It will be located 6.2 miles northeast of Cushing in the Button, R S Survey, A-127 with a depth of 14,500 feet. It may also be drilled in the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field, the Trawick (Jurassic) Field or the Trawick (Cotton Valley) Field.
The Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field will see the R.T. Smith Gas Unit Well No. 4 drilled by Fidelity Exploration & Production Co. Location will be 1.47 miles northwest of Minden in the Del Rio, S Survey, A-34. It will bottom at 12,500 feet.
Davis Oil & Gas LLC will drill the G. Beggs Trust Well No. 2 in a wildcat field. It will be located 10.4 miles west of Henderson in the Roan, W J Survey, A-680 and will bottom at 13,000 feet.
The Green Gas Unit 1 Well No. 6 will be drilled 2.46 miles west of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. Enduring Resources LLC took the well to 13,500 feet. Location is in the Reel, J Survey, A-33.
Sandridge Exploration & Production LLC will drill the Gladney Gas Unit Well No. 14 in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. It will bottom at 14,000 feet in the Walling, J Survey, A-42, and be located 5.6 miles west of Tatum. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
Enduring Resources LLC will drill the Jimmerson Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. Location will be 5.8 miles northeast of Minden in the Bell, R Survey, A-90. It will bottom at 13,500 feet and may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a wildcat field.
The Stingray Gas Unit Well No. 8 will be drilled 6.7 miles southeast of Henderson in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. Total depth will be 11,200 feet in the Horton, A C Survey, A-363. El Paso E&P Co. LP is the operator. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.
In a lease nine miles southeast of Henderson, in a wildcat field, the Worley Gas Unit Well No. 3 will be drilled by NFR Energy LLC. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Cole, R A Survey, A-193. The well may also be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley Lime) Field, the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.
San Augustine County
Timberstar Well No. 3 will be drilled 11.8 miles southeast of Center in the Angie (James Lime) Field. The well will be drilled to a depth of 9,000 feet by Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation. This well will lie in the Stansbury, T Survey, A-669.
Shelby County
The Oliver Unit Well No. 9 will be drilled 10.3 miles southwest of Center in the Stockman (Cotton Valley) Field by Devon Energy Production Co, LP. It will bottom at 15,000 feet in the Wheeler, R Survey, A-781, and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
Noble Energy Inc. will drill the Kennedy Trust-Hughes Well No. 1H in a wildcat field. It will be located 5.3 miles southwest of Center in the Lindsey, A Survey, A-423, and will bottom at 6,572 feet.
In a lease 11.2 miles southwest of Center in a wildcat field, the Weaver Well No. 1 will be drilled by Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. It will bottom at 14,000 feet in the McRae, J P Survey, A-1208, and may also be drilled in the Angie (James Lime) Field.
The Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field will see the Hunt Well No. 5 drilled by Hunt Petroleum Corp. to a depth of 9,000 feet. Location will be one mile east of Joaquin in the Childress, W R Survey, A-878.
A wildcat field will see the Gene Borders Well No. 2H drilled by Enexco Inc. It will be located 8.3 miles southeast of Center in the Sheffield, S A Survey, A-1131. The well will bottom at 9,150 feet and may also be drilled in the Angie (James Lime) Field.
The McSwain Well No. 7H will be drilled 8.9 miles southwest of Center in the Stockman (Cotton Valley) Field. It will be drilled 15,000 feet by Devon Energy Production Co. LP. It will lie in the Et RR Co./Redditt, J D Survey, A-1148, and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
The Epps Well No. 1 will be drilled 3.75 miles northwest of Center in a wildcat field. This well will be drilled to 11,600 feet by Burk Royalty Co. Ltd. in the Carzenava, K Survey, A-96.

The Wright Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 3 will be drilled by Apache Corp. in the Cherokee Trace (Cotton Valley) Field. It will bottom at 15,000 feet in the Stephens, J Survey, A-449. The West Heirs Well No. 1 will be drilled 3.5 miles northeast of Canton in the Fruitvale, Southwest (Travis Peak) Field to 9,000 feet by Jamex Inc. EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. completed the Crossman, PG Et Al Well No. 8, 3.37 miles southeast of Wells, in the Raintree Field. Total depth is 11,825 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 4.753 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated formation.
EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. completed three wells in the Raintree Field. The Kurth Well No. 2 is located 4.7 miles southeast of Wells with a depth of 11,935 feet. It potentialed 4.441 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. The Preston Heirs Unit Well No. 13 bottoms at 11,785 feet, no location was recorded. It potentialed 5.731 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. The Preston Heirs Unit Well No. 12 is located 3.58 miles southeast of Wells with a depth of 11,823 feet. It potentialed 1.556 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated formation.
On 12/64-inch choke, the Sessions, Mabel GU Well No. 4 potentialed 1.926 million cubic feet of gas per day. It is located 2.3 miles southeast of Wells in the South Sessions Field with a depth of 12,663 feet, drilled by Goodrich Petroleum Co. Production is in the Woodbine formation.
Cherokee County
The Parker Gas Unit Well No. 4 was completed 13.2 miles west of Rusk in the Southern Pine Field to 11,413 feet by Cordillera Texas LP. On a 28/64-inch choke, it potentialed 358,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
Freestone County
In a lease 7.6 miles northeast of Streetman, in the Winkler Field, the Simpson Well No. 1 was completed by Credo Petroleum Corp. No depth was recorded. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 165,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.
Anadarko Petroleum Corp. completed the Lovering, E.H. "A" Well No. 5, three miles southeast of Donie in the Bear Grass Field. It bottoms at 14,700 feet and potentialed 1.347 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
Harrison County
The TJ Taylor Well No. 10 is located 10 miles southeast of Jefferson in the Carthage, North Field. Forest Oil Corp. completed it to 10,024 feet. On a 26/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.400 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
SandRidge Exploration and Production LLC completed the Magrill Well No. 2 and the Holloway Gas Unit Well No. 6 in the Oak Hill Field. On a 48/64-inch choke, the Magrill Well No. 2 potentialed 1.248 million cubic feet of gas per day. It is located 1.7 miles northeast of Hallsville with a depth of 10,610 feet. On a 31/64-inch choke, the Holloway Gas Unit Well No. 6 potentialed 1.076 million cubic feet of gas per day. It is located 2.72 miles southeast of Hallsville with a depth of 10,711 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
The Harris Trust Well No. 2 is located six miles north of Marshall in the Woodlawn Field, completed by Samson Lone Star LLC to 12,265 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, it potentialed 492,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
GMX Resources Inc. completed two wells in the Carthage, North Field. The Ella Nolte Well No. 7D is located 11 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,030 feet. On an open choke, it potentialed 946,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The Baldwin Well No. 11 is located 10.5 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,010 feet. On an open choke, it potentialed 2.450 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
On a 34/64-inch choke, the Moore Well No. 02 potentialed 1.235 million cubic feet of gas per day. The well is located one miles north of Marshall in the Woodlawn Field. NFR Energy LLC completed the well to 10,393 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
NFR Energy LLC completed two additional wells. The Anderson Well No. 08 is located 4.3 miles southwest of Marshall in the Blocker Field. It bottoms at 10,502 feet and potentialed 312,000 cubic feet of gas per day when gauged on a 48/64-inch choke. The Pilot Well No. 05 is located 7.8 miles southeast of Jefferson in the Woodlawn Field. It bottoms at 9,991 feet and potentialed 780,000 cubic feet of gas per day when gauged on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Leon County
The Gastar Lone Oak Ranch Well No. 6 potentialed 11.004 million cubic feet of natural gas per day when gauged on an 18/64-inch choke. It is located 3.4 miles southeast of Ridge, drilled by Gastar Exploration Texas LP. It bottoms at 16,475 feet in the Hilltop Resort Field. Production is in the Bossier formation.
Limestone County
The Personville, North Field saw the Scharff Gas Unit Well No. 2 drilled by Samson Lone Star LLC to 10,140 feet. Location is 5.7 miles northeast of Kosse. On a 48/694-inch choke, it potentialed 191,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

It potentialed 2.562 million cubic feet of gas per day on an 18/64-inch choke. The Alton Sims Well No. 20 is located 13.6 miles northwest of Jewett with a depth of 13,120 feet. It potentialed 2.335 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.
Nacogdoches County
The Irwin Well No. 10 is located 3.1 miles southeast of Garrison in the Garrison Field. EnerQuest Corp. completed the well to 9,057 feet. On a 0.2969-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.281 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
The Douglass, West Field has seen four new wells completed by Samson Lone Star LLC. The J&A Durham GU 1 Well No. 1 is located 9.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches with a depth of 10,247 feet and potentialed 353,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. The H.G.T. Middlebrook GU 1 Well No. 7 is located 9.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches with a depth of 10,334 feet and potentialed 2.011 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. The Desha GU 1 Well No. 5 is located 11 miles northwest of Nacogdoches with a depth of 10,530 feet and potentialed 4.304 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 17/64-inch choke. The Weaver GU 1 Well No. 9 is located nine miles northwest of Nacogdoches with a depth of 10,600 feet and potentialed 2.315 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 32/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
When gauged on 1-inch choke, the Trawick Gu 8 Well No. 11 potentialed 2.153 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 2.53 miles east of Cushing in the Trawick Field. Total depth is 8,920 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
The Cecil Sparks GU 1 Well No. 9 is located 15 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Martinsville Field. Samson Lone Star LLC completed the well to 10,635 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.558 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
Panola County
In a lease 3.5 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage Field, the CGU 5 Well No. 15 was completed by Anadarko E&P Co. LP. It bottoms at 9,750 feet and potentialed 1.253 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Devon Energy Production Co. LP completed the Cavin Unit Well No. 15 in the Bethany, East Field to a depth of 9,220 feet. It was drilled 15.7 miles northeast of Carthage. When gauged on an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 423,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
The Chas Neal Well No. 1 is located 4.6 miles southwest of Long Branch in the Minden Field. Enduring Resources LLC completed the well to 10,450 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, it potentialed 96,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
The Hull Unit A Well No. A-102 was completed to 11,004 feet by Devon Energy Production Co. LP. Location is 4.1 miles east of Carthage. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 474,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Lacy Operations Ltd. completed the Burnett Unit 10 Well No. 14 in the Carthage Field. It is located 8.8 miles northeast of Carthage with a depth of 9,717 feet. It potentialed 1.676 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Anadarko E&P Co. LP completed the Williams Wall Gas Unit Well No. 10 and the Lloyd Moore Gas Unit Well No. 7 in the Carthage Field. The No. 10 is located 5.7 miles northwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,665 feet and potentialed 1.300 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 7 is located 4.8 miles southeast of Carthage with a depth of 9,565 feet and potentialed 477,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
When gauged on an adjustable choke, the McKay Gas Unit Well No. 4 potentialed 760,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well is located 6.6 miles southwest of Tatum in the Beckville Field. Goodrich Petroleum Co. completed the well to 10,380 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Devon Energy Production Co. LP completed the Hall Unit Well No. 15 and the Maurtizen, J.C. Well No. 5 in the Carthage Field. The No. 15 is located 2.97 miles southeast of Carthage with a depth of 9,867 feet and potentialed 1.041 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 5 is located 8.8 miles southwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,947 feet and potentialed 1.657 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Robertson County
When gauged on a 14/64-inch choke, the White Well No. 1 potentialed 2.570 million cubic feet of gas per day. O'Benco Inc. completed the well in the Bald Prairie Field to a depth of 12,400 feet. Location is 108 miles northwest of Franklin. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. completed the Sublett Well No. 1 in the Hilltop Resort Field. This well is located 6.7 miles northwest of New Baden with a depth of 17,500 feet. On a 1-inch choke and potentialed 4.140 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Bossier formation.
Rusk County
The Brachfield, Southeast Field saw the Jarrell Gas Unit Well No. 2 completed by Enduring Resources LLC. Location 3.1 miles northwest of Minden with a depth of 10,870 feet. When gauged on an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.025 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
SandRidge Onshore LLC completed the Nana Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 3 and the Powel, Miriam Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 17 in the Minden Field. The No. 3 bottoms at a depth of 10,880 feet 5.2 miles southeast of Henderson. On a 25/64-inch choke, it potentialed 4.251 million cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 17 bottoms at a depth of 10,860 feet five miles southeast of Henderson. On a 25/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.750 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
The Kangerga 2 Well No. 3 is located 2.7 miles southwest of Henderson in the Minden Field. El Paso E&P Co. LP completed the well to 10,935 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 883,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
Shelby County
The Huxley Field saw the Matthews Well No. 1-H completed to 14,900 feet by Hunt Petroleum. Location is 6.5 miles southeast of Center and potentialed 1.786 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the 6100 formation.
Enexco Inc. completed the Gene Borders Well No. 1-H in the Angie, West Field with a depth of 12,000 feet. Location is 8.3 miles south of Center. On an 18/64-inch choke, it potentialed 7.500 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the James Lime formation.
Upshur County
The Tanner Well No. 1 and the McCaslin-Hall Well No. 3 were completed by Maximus Operating Ltd. The No. 1 is located 9.15 miles east of Gilmer in the Cherokee Trace Field with a depth of 12,264 feet. On a 14/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.837 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Jurassic formation. The No. 3 is located six miles west of Ore City with a depth of 12,124 feet. On a 14/64-inch choke, it potentialed 3.769 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley, Lower formation.
Van Zandt County
The J.A. Bracken 35 Well No. 15 was completed within city limits of Van in the Van Field. Union Oil Co. of California took the well to 3,225 feet. It flowed with 14 barrels of crude per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Central Woodbine formation.
