Tyler's Ellis Tied For 25th At Collegiate Players Tour
EULESS -- Tyler's Spenser Ellis shot a 7-over 77 on Thursday and is tied for 25th at the Collegiate Players Tour National Championship at Texas Star Golf Club.
Ellis shot 75-71 the first two days and is at 223 overall.
Ross Beal, a senior golfer at Youngstown State this past spring, leads the men's division by six strokes at 205 (67-66-72).
University of Iowa golfer Tyrette Metzendorf tops the women's division by 11 strokes at 213 (69-70-74).
The final round is today.
