August 15: Together
I agree with the writer's comment (Aug. 10, East Texas Mailbox) on the Republican Party and how it did no background checks and did not let citizens have a decision.
I say the citizens of Precinct 2 band together and support and vote for a write-in candidate.
If we elect a write-in candidate that will show the Republican Party the voters still have the power as to who is elected.
The citizens should have the final say on who is their constable. The citizens care about who represents them and I say again, let's band together and elect who we want as our constable.
