Tyler Student Receives Southwestern Scholarship
Tracy Day, of Tyler, has received a Mood Scholarship to attend Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Mood Scholarships are merit scholarships between $7,001 and $13,000 a year. She also received a Southwestern Music Scholarship.
Day is the daughter of Dr. Richard and Frances Day, of Tyler. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in May. Day plans to major in Vocal Performance and Environmental Studies at Southwestern.
Southwestern University is a selective, nationally recognized undergraduate liberal arts college with an enrollment of 1,260 students. It is the oldest institution of higher learning in Texas.
