The Temple Inland Well No. 39, the Temple Inland Well No. 40, the Temple Inland Well No. 41 and the Temple Inland Well No. 42 will be drilled four miles northeast of Elkhart in the Anwac (900 Wilcox) Field. They will bottom at 2,000 feet in the Erwin, R Survey, A-263. The No. 39 well may also be drilled in the Anwac (1100 Wilcox) Field, the Anwac (1400 Wilcox) Field or the Anwac (1300 Wilcox) Field. The No. 40, No. 41 and the No. 42 wells may also be drilled in the Anwac (1300 Wilcox) Field or the Anwac (1400) Field.
Angelina County
In a lease 4.74 miles southeast of Wells in the Raintree (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Kurth Well No. 5 will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. It will bottom at 13,500 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-201.
EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. will drill the Kurth Well No. 4 and the Estes Well No. 1. The No. 4 will be located 5.05 miles southeast of Wells in the Raintree (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field. It will bottom at 13,500 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-201. The No. 1 will be located 3.71 miles southeast of Wells in the Loco Bayou (James Lime) Field. It will bottom at 15,000 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-703 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Raintree (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.
Cherokee County
The Ward Timber Well No. 1 will be drilled 5.8 miles northwest of Forrest in the Decker Switch (Pettit) Field by Chesapeake Operating Inc. It will bottom at 14,000 feet in the Harris, J Survey, A-402 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
Freestone County
In a lease 5.2 miles east of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field, the Kirsch Gas Unit Well No. 2B will be drilled by XTO Energy Inc. It will bottom at 13,200 feet in the Lawrence, J Survey, A-364.
The Knowles “A” Well No. 5 will be drilled 3.6 miles west of Oakwood in the Dowdy Ranch (Cotton Valley) Field. Anadarko Petroleum Corp. will drill the well to 16,600 feet in the Sancheze, J M Survey, A-27.
XTO Energy Inc. will prepare to drill the Gilliam “C” No. 2 Gas Unit Well No. 28 and the Gilliam “C” No. 2 Gas Unit Well No. 31 in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 28 will be located eight miles south of Teague in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-10 with a depth of 13,400 feet. The No. 31 will be located 7.5 miles of Teague in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-10 with a depth of 13,500 feet.
The Mann, North (Cotton Valley Sand) Field will see the Richardson, Letha M. Well No. 5 drilled by Lacy Operations Ltd. It will bottom at 9,850 feet 0.8 miles north of Kirvin in the Barbee, J Survey, A-89.
The Kelly “A” Well No. 9 will be located 2.3 miles southeast of Donie in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. Anadarko Petroleum Corp. will drill the well to 15,300 feet in the Diaz, G Survey, A-178. It may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field.
Gregg County
Forest Oil Corp. will prepare to drill the Pugh Meadows Gas Unit Well No. 8H in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley, West) Field. It will bottom at 11,500 feet in the Rains, P P Survey, A-258 four miles northwest of Longview.
The Flanagan Well No. 13 will be drilled 3.5 miles east of Kilgore in the Danville (Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. Samson Lone Star LLC will drill it to 13,000 feet in the Edwards, H Survey, A-64, and it may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
The Pugh Meadows Gas Unit Well No. 7 will be drilled four miles northwest of Longview in the Willow Springs (Travis Peak) Field. It will bottom at 11,500 feet, drilled by Forest Oil Corp. in the Rains, P P Survey, A-258. It may also be drilled in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley) Field.
Harrison County
The Hope Well No. 1 will be drilled by NFR Energy LLC in a wildcat field. Location will be 7.5 miles southwest of Karnack in the Spain, E D Survey, A-22. Depth will be 13,000 feet. It may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field or the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field.
The Woodlawn Field will see the Frank Davis Est. Gas Unit 2 Well No. 3 drilled by Clemons, Tony W. to a depth of 7,000 feet. This well will be located 5.8 miles north of Marshall in the Husband, J Survey, A-297 and may also be drilled in the Woodlawn (Hill) Field, the Woodlawn (Transition) Field, the Woodlawn (Rodessa) Field, the Woodlawn (Nugent) Field or the Woodlawn (Pettit-Page) Field.
Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP will drill the Granbury Unit Well No. 1 in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field, 10.5 miles northeast of Marshall in the Cellum, J Survey, A-145. Total depth will be 14,000 feet. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field.
In a lease 5.8 miles north of Marshall in the Woodlawn Field, the Durkee Gas Unit 1 Well No. 4 will be drilled by Clemons, Tony W. It will bottom at 7,000 feet in the Vardeman, H Survey, A-726. It may also be drilled in the Woodlawn (Transition) Field, the Woodlawn (Nugent) Field, the Woodlawn (Rodessa) Field, the Woodlawn (Pettit-Page) Field or the Woodlawn (Hill) Field.
GMX Resources Inc. will drill the Callison Well No. 6 and the Callison Well No. 10 to 11,800 feet in the Smith, W Survey, A-21. The No. 6 will be located 11 miles southeast of Marshall. The No. 10 will be located 10.5 miles southeast of Marshall. The No. 10 may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field.
The Rogers Lake Well No. 1 will be drilled 8.9 miles southeast of Marshall in a wildcat field. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Graves, J Survey, A-279. Stroud Petroleum, Inc. may also drill it in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field or the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field.
In a lease 4.5 miles southeast of Scottsville in a wildcat field, the Jones Well No. 3 will be drilled to 10,600 feet by Riverstone Energy Operating LLC. It will lie in the Walling, J C Survey, A-737 and may also be drilled in the Bethany (Cotton Valley) Field, the Bethany (Travis Peak Oil) Field or the Bethany, East (Cotton Valley) Field.
NFR Energy LLC will drill the Muslow Oil Well No. 1 in a wildcat field. Location will be five miles southwest of Karnack in the Ewing, W Survey, A-6. It will bottom at 13,000 feet and may also be drilled in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field or the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field.
The McKenzie Gas Lease Well No. 3 will be drilled 10.8 miles northeast of Marshall in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. It will bottom at 14,000 feet in the Payne, W H Survey, A-550. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
GMX Resources Inc. will drill the Gerry Well No. 1 and the Callison Well No. 11 in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 1 will be located 10 miles southeast of Marshall in the Hall, F Survey, A-311. The No. 11 will be located 11 miles southeast of Marshall in the Smith, W Survey, A-21. These wells may also be drilled in the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field, the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a wildcat field.
Houston County
The Burrantown Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled 3.5 miles east of Weches in the Decker Switch (Travis Peak) Field. It will bottom at 13,500 feet in the Gregg, J Survey, A-471 and may also be drilled in the Decker Switch (Pettit) Field.
Leon County
The Gastar Lone Oak Ranch Well No. 7 will be drilled in a wildcat field to a depth of 20,000 feet. Gastar Exploration Texas LP will drill the well four miles southeast of Ridge in the Pereira, P/Grande, J & M Survey, A-17. It may also be drilled in the Hilltop Resort (Bossier) Field or the Hilltop Resort (Pettit) Field.
Limestone County
The Jackson Unit No. 2 Well No. 3 will be drilled 4.2 miles northeast of Kosse in the Steele Creek (Cotton Valley) Field by Sklar Exploration Co. LLC. It will bottom at 9,700 feet in the Brown, J D Survey, A-51.
XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Robert Sims Gas Unit Well No. 10 and the Hudson “B” Gas Unit Well No. 20 in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 10 will be located 10.6 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4. The No. 20 will be located 12.2 miles east of Groesbeck in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4.
Marion County
The Ivory ACQ. Well No. 1 and the Ivory ACQ. Well No. 2 will be drilled 2.5 miles northwest of Karnack in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field. They will bottom at 11,900 feet in the SA&MG RR Co. Survey, A-363 drilled by Forest Oil Corp. They may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
Nacogdoches County
The S.F.O.T. Unit Well No. 4H will be drilled 0.1 miles west of Nacogdoches in the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field. Marathon Oil Co. will take the well to 14,000 feet in the Hall, G H Survey, A-268. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
In a lease 8.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches, in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field, the Weaver GU 1 Well No. 5 will be drilled by Samson Lone Star LLC. It will bottom at 12,000 feet in the De Los Santos Coy, M & Bros. Survey, A-21 and may also be drilled in the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, the Miyagi (Pettit) Field, a wildcat field or the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field.
Indigo Minerals LLC will drill the Byrd Gas Unit 2 Well No. 1 in a wildcat field to a depth of 11,000 feet. The Chronister Heirs Well No. 10 was completed by XTO Energy Inc. in the Doyle Creek. Location is 6.30 miles northwest of Wells with a depth of 12,300 feet. It potentialed 1.943 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
Freestone County
The Melvin Waldrip Gas Unit II Well No. 4 was completed in the Bear Grass Field by XTO Energy Inc. Location is 1.5 miles southwest of Donie with a depth of 14,450 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 231,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
When gauged on a 68/64-inch choke, the F.R. Hill GU 1 Well No. 16-H potentialed 16.138 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Location is 5.1 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Nan-Su-Gail Field by Devon Energy Production Co. LP. It bottoms at 15,873 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
Gregg County
Anadarko E&P Co. LP completed the Buford Well No. 12 to a depth of 10,777 feet in the Oak Hill Field. Location is 11.3 miles southeast of Longview. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 1.119 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Harrison County
The Patterson-Herrin Gas Unit Well No. 8 is located 10.5 miles southwest Marshall in the Blocker Field by BP America Production Co. It bottoms at 10,310 feet and potentialed 1.122 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
The Primo Gas Unit Well No. 1 is located 3.9 miles southeast of Jefferson in the Woodlawn Field. Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP completed the well to 10,194 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, it potentialed 208,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
NFR Energy LLC completed the Pilot Well No. 06 in the Woodlawn Field. This well bottoms at 10,000 feet 7.5 miles southeast of Jefferson. On a 32/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.100 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the Bivins Gas Unit 1 Well No. 5 potentialed 487,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 2.2 miles north-northeast of Easton in the Oak Hill Field. Valence Operating Co. completed the well to 12,268 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Leon County
The O’Neal, G. Well No. 6 is located 5.5 miles northwest of Marquez in the Bear Grass Field. It was completed to 13,975 feet by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and potentialed 1.775 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
Limestone County
In a lease 14.9 miles northwest of Jewett in the Freestone Field, the Rickard Gas Unit Well No. 6 was completed by O’Benco Inc. It bottoms at 13,296 feet. No test data recorded. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.
Nacogdoches County
When gauged on a 0.438-inch choke, the Trawick GU 22 Well No. 9-C potentialed 352,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. It is located 4.58 miles northeast of Cushing in the Trawick Field. Exxon Mobil Corp. completed the well to 8,900 feet. Production is in the Pettit formation.
The Trawick Field saw the Trawick GU 9 Well No. 9 completed by Exxon Mobil Corp. to a depth of 8,927 feet. No location was recorded. It potentialed 2.253 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 0.75-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
Samson Lone Star LLC completed the Bradshaw, J. Well No. 1 in the Trawick Field and the Franki Marie GU 1 Well No. 2 in the Douglass, West Field. The No. 1 well is located 8.5 miles north of Nacogdoches with a depth of 9,962 feet. On a 27/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.700 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Pettit formation. The No. 2 well is located 10 miles northwest of Nacogdoches with a depth of 9,942 feet. When gauged on a 25/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 4.073 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
The Chelle GU 1 Well No. 1 is located 12 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West Field. Samson Lone Star LLC completed the well to 10,251 feet. It potentialed 1.733 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
Panola County
The Parker Unit 1 Well No. 19 is located 3.8 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage Field. Lacy Operations Ltd. completed the well to 9,995 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.289 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
