East Texas Pump Jacks Fall To Brazos Valley Bombers
KILGORE Kip Masuda went 3-for-4 with five RBIs as the Brazos Valley Bombers jumped all over the East Texas Pump Jacks, 9-1, on Tuesday night at Driller Park.
The Bombers (17-20) scored three runs in both the first and second innings, and never looked back.
Jim McGonigle (3-0) allowed only a run and five hits in six innings to earn the win. He struck out five and walked four.
Clint Helms (1-3) suffered the loss, surrendering seven runs (six earned) in 3 1-3 innings.
The Pump Jacks play host to Brazos Valley again today at Driller Park. The game has a 7:05 p.m. start.
