GLADEWATER — Trey Volentine’s streak continues.

The Brownsboro youngster won his 13th straight golf tournament by capturing the Boys 14-15 Division of the Ark-La-Tex Junior Tour’s tournament Monday at Southern Hills Country Club.

Volentine fired a 74 to win by five strokes over runner-up Ryan Ball of Hughes Springs.

He tied with Tyler Weatherford of Liberty City for the best score of the day. Weatherford won the Boys 16-18 Division.

Other winners were Casey Cochran of Hughes Springs (Boys 12-13), Katie Flinn of Mount Pleasant (Girls 15-18), Jeremy Bates of Quitman (Boys 10-11), and Kade W. Keith of Texarkana (Coed 7-9).

Thirty-six players took part in the tournament.

The Ark-La-Tex Tour’s next stop is Thursday at Northridge Country Club in Texarkana.
