Tyler East National Downs Bellaire
Trace Reed, Jake Parker and Patrick Mahomes all belted home runs to lead Tyler East National to a 14-10 win over Bellaire in an elimination Major League game at Faulkner Park Sunday.
The teams are competing in the Texas East State Little League Tournament.
Parker also got the win on the mound as he came into the game in the second inning and finished the contest.

Mahomes had three hits, scored three runs and had two RBIs, while Reed had three hits, scored four runs and had two RBIs.
Cole Stevenson led Bellaire with two hits and four RBIs.
Tyler East will play Nederland at 7 p.m. Monday.

Lamar American’s Stone Garrett homered on the game’s first pitch. Cameron Boudgreaux then went deep one batter later as Lamar American laid the foundation for an 11-0 victory against Nederland.
Lamar American advances to the championship, where it will meet the winner between Nederland and Tyler East American.
Lamar American’s Nate Bertness added a three-run homer in the third. He also earned the win, registering eight strikeouts in only three innings of work.
Garrett finished with three hits, three runs and two RBIs.

Zach Zubia and Cole Montgomery homered to help keep Lamar National’s hopes alive with a 16-8 victory against Bridge City in an elimination game Sunday.
Zach Zubia and Cole Montgomery homered to help keep Lamar National’s hopes alive with a 16-8 victory against Bridge City in an elimination game Sunday.
Zubia and Montgomery both recorded their blasts in the fourth inning, during which Montgomery gave Lamar National the lead for good with a grand slam.
Montgomery finished 3-for-4, while Jack Schindler went 3-for-3 with four runs and two doubles and Parker Stafford scored three runs.
Bridge City was led by Tanner Doron (4-for-4, run), Blake Lane (2-for-3, run) and Caleb Hussey (two runs).
