The C.C. Thompson Gas Unit Well No. 23 will be drilled by XTO Energy Inc. in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The well will be located 3.3 miles northwest of Donie in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-10 and will bottom at 13,600 feet.
XTO Energy Inc. will prepare to drill five wells in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The W.H. Day, Et Al Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 9 will be drilled 2.4 miles southwest of Fairfield in the Reed, I H Survey, A-23. Total depth will be 12,800 feet. The Dunlap Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 4 will be drilled 3.1 miles southwest of Fairfield in the Cabler, F P Survey, A-114. Total depth will be 13,100 feet. The Dunlap Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 8 and the Dunlap Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 11 will be drilled 2.4 miles southwest of Fairfield in the F.P. Cabler Survey, A-114. Total depth will be 13,100 feet. The Willard Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 4 will be drilled 3.8 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Reed, W B Survey, A-24. Total depth will be 13,200 feet.
The J.R. Sessions Gas Unit Well No. 1 and the Jean A. Williford Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled in a wildcat field by XTO Energy Inc. The J.R. Sessions Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled 3.4 miles northwest of Kirvin in the Sweet, S A Survey, A-37 and will bottom at 11,500 feet. The Jean A. Williford Gas Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled 4.9 miles southwest of Wortham in the Curry, W Survey, A-9 and will bottom at 10,500 feet.
Angelina County
The E.M. Ryan Unit Well No. 13 will be drilled 3.87 miles northeast of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field. It will bottom at 12,300 feet, drilled in the Durst, J Survey, A-703 by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. It may also be drilled in the Raintree (Pettit) Field.
C.W. Resources Inc. is preparing to drill the Angelina River GU Well No. 1 in the Redland, Northeast (Travis Peak) Field. Location is 12 miles north of Lufkin in the Micheli, V Survey, A-29 and will bottom at 12,500 feet.
Cherokee County
The Marathon Oil Co. will drill the Whiteman Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 9H 7.9 miles west of Alto in the White Oak Creek (Pettit) Field. Total depth will be 14,000 feet in the Maudling, J W Survey, A-570. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
Gregg County
The Robbins “N” Well No. 15 will be drilled by Chinn Exploration Co. in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be located 8.7 miles east of Longview in the Matthews, J Survey, A-3. Total depth will be 12,500 feet.
In a lease 3.5 miles east of Kilgore in the Danville (Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, the Flanagan Well No. 14 will be drilled by Samson Lone Star LLC. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Edwards, H Survey, A-64.
J-W Operating Co. will drill the A.J. Tuttle Gas Unit Well No. 6H in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley) Field to a depth of 15,000 feet. It will be located four miles northwest of Longview in the Rains, P P Survey, A-258.
Harrison County
Penn Virginia Oil & Gas, L.P. will drill the Fogle Gas Unit Well No. 6H in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field. Location will be 12.9 miles southeast of Marshall in the Nance, G Survey, A-519 with a depth of 13,000 feet. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
The Darco, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Meek Haynes Unit Well No. 9 drilled by O’Benco, Inc. Location will be 10.1 miles south of Marshall in the Carrol, E Survey, A-135 and will bottom at 12,000 feet. It may also be drilled in the Blocker (Rodessa) Field, a wildcat field, the Blocker (Travis Peak) Field, the Blocker (Page) Field or the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field.
NFR Energy, LLC will drill the Whittaker Well No. 4 to a depth of 13,000 feet in a wildcat field. It will be located six miles southwest of Marshall in the Blankenship, L B Survey, A-71. It may also be drilled in the Blocker (Cotton Valley) Field or the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field.
In a lease six miles north of Marshall in the Woodlawn Field, the Frank Davis Est. Gas Unit 2 Well No. 2 will be drilled by Clemons, Tony W. It will bottom at 7,000 feet in the Smith, R W Survey, A-626. It may also be drilled in the Woodlawn (Transition) Field, Woodlawn (Hill) Field, the Woodlawn (Nugent) Field, the Woodlawn (Rodessa) Field or the Woodlawn (Pettit-Page) Field.
The Davis Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled by Craton Energy Holdings III LP in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. Location will be 1.5 miles southwest of Hallsville in the Hooper, R Survey, A-304. It will bottom at 13,000 feet and may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) field or a wildcat field.
The Jones, Penny Well No. 8H will be drilled 7.3 miles northeast of Marshall in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Johnson, G Survey, A-359 and may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field or the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.
A wildcat field will see the Smith Gas Unit Well No. 1D drilled by Enervest Operating LLC to a depth of 11,500 feet. It will be located four miles southwest of Hallsville in the Berry, M Survey, A-75 and may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field.
Henderson County
The Smith Et Al Well No. 1 will be drilled 18.9 miles northwest of Athens in a wildcat field. It will lie the Russell, N G Survey, A-660. Blackbrush O&G Inc. will drill the well to a depth of 7,200 feet.
Leon County
The OSR Halliday Unit Well No. 802 will be drilled five miles east of Leona in the Halliday (Woodbine) Field by Woodbine Production Corp. Total depth will be 8,300 feet in the F. Del Valle League Survey, A-29.
Limestone County
The A.E. Bertelson (West) Well No. M 2 will be drilled 2.9 miles west of Mexia in the Mexia Field. Total depth will be 3,200 feet in the Varela, P Survey, A-30. Operator is Brown Oil & Gas Co.
Nacogdoches County
The Appleby, North (Pettit) Field will see the Lee “E-1” Gas Unit Well No. 6 drilled by EOG Resources Inc. It will bottom at 10,000 feet, 3.3 miles southwest of Garrison in the Harris, J A Survey, A-279. It may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field.
The Douglass GU 8 Well No. 9 will be drilled 10.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field. It will be drilled to 12,000 feet in the Wilson, J Survey, A-59 by Samson Lone Star, LLC. It may also be drilled in the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, The Miyagi (Pettit) Field, a wildcat field or the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field.
Chesapeake Operating Inc. will drill the Bradshaw Gas Unit Well No. 2 in a wildcat field to a depth of 12,000 feet. Location will be 2.8 miles northwest of Mayo in the Herrera, M G Survey, A-248. In a lease 2.6 miles southwest of Fairplay in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field, the Sealey G.U. Well No. 4R will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum Co. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Warden, J Survey, A-755 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.
Anadarko E&P Co. LP will drill the CGU 16 Well No. 19, the Freeman Gas Unit Well No. 14 and the CGU 7 Well No. 15 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 19 well will bottom at 12,000 feet in the White, J A Survey, A-749. Location will be 4.7 miles northwest of Carthage. The well may also be drilled in a wildcat field. The No. 7 will be located 8.9 miles northeast of Carthage in the Decker, E Survey, A-169. Total depth will be 13,000 feet. The Frost Lumber Company Well No. 1 will be drilled 19.8 miles east of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. Total depth will be 10,300 feet in the MK&TE RR Co. Survey, A-913 by Classic Operating Company LLC. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field.
Goodrich Petroleum Co. is preparing to drill the Taylor Sealey GU Well No. 2 in the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field. It will be located 2.4 miles southwest of Fairplay in the Biggs, H Survey, A-65. Total depth will be 13,000 feet. It well may also be drilled in the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field.
In a lease 3.2 miles northwest of DeBerry, in a wildcat field, the James Madison Furrh Heirs Well No. 1 will be drilled by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP. It will bottom at 14,000 feet in the Tutle, D Sr. Survey, A-668 and may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field or the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field.
The Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field will see Lacy Operations Ltd. drill the Burnett Unit 2 Well No. 9 to a depth of 10,000 feet. Location will be 7.9 miles northeast of Carthage in the Slaughter, G Survey, A-653.
Robertson County
The Morgan, Travis Well No. 3 will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. in a wildcat field. This well will bottom at 19,000 feet 4.4 miles southeast of Franklin in the Eaton, S H Survey, A-10. It may also be drilled in the Savell (Bossier Sand) Field.
Coronado Energy E&P Co. LLC will drill the Blair, John Well No. 29 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will bottom at 13,500 feet in the Owens, W Survey, A-297 and be located 12.1 miles northeast of Franklin.
The Calvert (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Skiles Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 1 drilled by XTO Energy Inc. to a depth of 14,000 feet. It will bottom at 14,000 feet in the Brennan, M Survey, A-67.
Rusk County
The Hays Gas Unit Well No. 3 will be drilled 2.7 miles northwest of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. The well will bottom at 13,500 feet drilled by Enduring Resources LLC. It will lie in the Yarbrough, R Survey, A-884 and may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a wildcat field.
Energen Resources Corp. will drill the Williamson Unit Well No. 11 and the Williamson Unit Well No. 13 in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 11 will be located 2.7 miles northwest of Tatum in the Howell, J Survey, A-402. The No. 13 will be located 2.7 miles northwest of Tatum in the Wells, P Survey, A-842.
In a lease four miles west of Henderson in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field, the Dollar Gas Unit 1 Well No. 10 will be drilled by Forest Oil Corp. It will bottom at 11,500 feet in the McWilliams, J Survey, A-539.
The Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Pinkerton Gas Unit Well No. 12H drilled by Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. It will be located 2.33 miles northeast of Minden in the Vansickle, B A Survey, A-796. This well will bottom at 12,500 feet.
EOG Resources Inc. will drill the Reeves Gas Unit Well No. 6 3.4 miles northwest of Garrison in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field. It will bottom at 10,000 feet in the Morrison, J C Survey, A-517 and may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Pettit) Field.
Fidelity Exploration & Production Co. is preparing to drill a new well in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. The R.T. Smith Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled 2.17 miles northwest of Minden in the Mc Kay, G C Survey, A-582. Total depth will be 12,000 feet.
The Hays Gas Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled by Enduring Resources LLC in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field to a depth of 13,500 feet. It will be located 2.19 miles northwest of Minden in the Yarbrough, R Survey, A-884. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.
In a lease 4.8 miles southeast of Henderson in a wildcat field, the Robert Youngblood GU Well No. 8 will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum Co. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Piburn, J Survey, A-28 and may also be drilled in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.
The C. Gentry Et Al Well No. 3 will be drilled five miles southwest of Pinehill and the Barron, Pearl Well No. 4 will be drilled eight miles northeast of Pone. Both wells will be drilled in a wildcat field by NFR Energy LLC to a depth of 13,000 feet. The No. 3 will lie in the Morris, I Survey, A-541. The No. 4 will lie in the Smith, J Survey, A-709. Shelby County
In a lease 8.6 miles southwest of Center in the Stockman (Cotton Valley) Field, the McSwain Well No. 4 will be drilled by Devon Energy Production Co; LP. This well will bottom at 15,000 feet in the ET RR Co./Redditt, J D Survey, A-1148.
The Mitchell Trust Well No. 1 will be drilled seven miles northwest of Timpson in a wildcat field. It will bottom at 13,000 feet, drilled by NFR Energy LLC, and lie in the Ferguson, W Survey, A-225. It may also be drilled in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field, the Minden (Cotton Valley Lime) Field, the Brachfield (Rodessa) Field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.
Maximus Operating Ltd. will drill the May Unit Well No. 1 in a wildcat field to a depth of 10,500 feet. This well will be located 4.2 miles northeast of Paxton in the Haley, J E Survey, A-284. In a lease 1.5 miles west of Tenaha in the Tenaha, South (Cotton Valley) Field, the Tenaha SWD Well No. 1 will be drilled by SE Energy LLC. It will bottom at 5,500 feet in the Mc Crimin, J Survey, A-505.
The Brooks Et Al Well No. 5 will be drilled 1.76 miles north of Joaquin in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field. Total depth will be 10,000 feet, drilled by Classic Operating Co. LLC., and lie in the Laird, D J Survey, A-869. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.
BP America Production Co. will drill the BP Georgetown 885 Well No. 3 in the Stockman (Cotton Valley) Field. It will bottom at 13,500 feet in the G RR Co. Survey, A-885 and may also be drilled in the Stockman (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field.
Ellora Operating LP will drill the Preece Well No. 3H and the Preece Well No. 4H in the Bridges, East (James Lime) Field. The wells will bottom at 7,000 feet in the Parker, B Survey, A-548. Both wells will be located 17.6 miles southeast of Center.

In a lease 4.9 miles southwest of Gilmer, in a wildcat field, the Ida Mae Brown Gas Unit Well No. 2H will be drilled by Cordillera Texas LP. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Williams, J B Survey, A-535. It may also be drilled in the Gilmer (Cotton Valley Upper) Field, the Gilmer (Cotton Valley Sands) Field, the Wilkins, North (Cotton Valley Sand) Field, the Gilmer (Cotton Valley) Field or the Gilmer, South (Cotton Valley) Field.

When gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the Toliver Gas Unit 1 Well No. 2 potentialed 1.538 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well was completed one mile north of Alto in the Alto Field. Chesapeake Operating Inc. completed it to a depth of 11,550 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
Chesapeake Operating Inc. completed the Castleberry Gas Unit Well No. 1 in the Reklaw Field to a depth of 11,150 feet. It is located three miles south of Rusk. On a 26/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 147,000 cubic feet of gas per day, with production in the Woodbine formation.
The Morby & Walsh Gas Unit 1 Well No. 1 was completed by Southwestern Energy Production Co., 2.8 miles northwest of Jacksonville in the Overton Field. It bottoms at 14,451 feet and potentialed 337,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 42/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.
Freestone County
The Wilburn Well No. 7 is located 5.5 miles southeast of Teague in the Freestone Field. XTO Energy Inc. completed it to 12,460 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 3.474 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, with production in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation.
XTO Energy Inc. completed the Pillans Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Cheneyboro Field to a depth of 10,750 feet. Location is 2.60 miles east of Streetman. On a 14/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.349 million cubic feet of gas per day, with production in the Cotton Valley formation.
When gauged on a 14/64-inch choke, the McMahon, Richard L. Well No. 5 potentialed 1.893 million cubic feet of gas per day. It was completed seven miles west of Buffalo in the Bear Grass Field by Samson Lone Star LLC. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
Gregg County
The Daniles, Judge G.U. 1 Well No. 10 is located 2.5 miles east of Kilgore in the Danville Field. Samson Lone Star LLC completed the well to 10,993 feet. It potentialed 1.420 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak-Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.
Harrison County
Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP completed three new wells in the Carthage, North Field. The Abney Gas Unit Well No. 11 is located 9.7 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,038 feet and potentialed 1.980 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 22/64-inch choke. The Abney Gas Unit Well No. 10 is located 9.4 miles southeast of Marshall with a depth of 10,058 feet and potentialed 846,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 22/64-inch choke. The Bookout Gas Unit Well No. 10 is located 3.7 miles northeast of Crossroads with a depth of 10,038 feet and potentialed 1.505 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Limestone County
The Bobby Reed Gas Unit Well No. 3, the Bobby Reed Gas Unit Well No. 2 and the Bobby Reed Gas Unit Well No. 4 were completed in the Freestone Field by O’Benco Inc. The No. 3 is located 2.9 miles northwest of Farrar with a depth of 11,850 feet. On a 16/64-inch choke, it potentialed 586,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 2 is located 2.7 miles northwest of Farrar with a depth of 11,847 feet. On a 38/64-inch choke, it potentialed 623,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 4 is located 2.9 miles northwest of Farrar with a depth of 11,755 feet. On a 17/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.095 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Jeff Thomas Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 15 potentialed 1.258 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It was completed 16.10 miles southeast of Groesbeck by XTO Energy Inc. This well bottoms at 14,120 feet in the Farrar Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.
Nacogdoches County
Chesapeake Operating Inc. completed the A T Mast B Gas Unit Well No. 8 in the Naconiche Creek Field. It bottoms at 9,286 feet, 3.2 miles northeast of Mayo. On a 20/64-inch choke it potentialed 969,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated formation.
The Lola D GU 1 Well No. 3 is located 11.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West Field. Samson Lone Star LLC completed the well to a depth of 10,180 feet. On a 25/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.613 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
When gauged on a 26/64-inch choke, the HGT Well No. 1 potentialed 1.605 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It was completed by Southwestern Energy Production Co. in the Doyle Creek Field to a depth of 11,669 feet. Location is 5.5 miles northeast of Wells. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
Panola County
The Thomas, Charles Well No. 15 and the Lilly Unit Well No. 21 were completed in the Carthage Field by Devon Energy Production Co. LP. The No. 15 is located 6.5 miles southwest of Carthage with a depth of 9,695 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.527 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 21 well is located 4.7 miles northeast of Carthage with a depth of 9,752 feet. It potentialed 869,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
When gauged on a 17/64-inch choke, the Adams, T.C. Well No. 67 flowed with 18.65 barrels of crude per day. It is located 6.7 miles southeast of DeBerry in the Bethany Field. Chevron USA Inc. completed the well to a depth of 6,245 feet. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated formation.
Enduring Resources LLC completed the Smith Farms Well No. 1 in the Brachfield, Southeast Field to a depth of 10,515 feet. It is located 2.6 miles southeast of Brachfield. On a 24/64-inch choke, it potentialed 482,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
The Furrh-McMillan Unit Well No. 5 is located 13.1 miles east of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Chevron USA Inc. completed the well to a depth of 9,850 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 693,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
In a lease 5.1 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage Field, the Mason Well No. 21 was completed by Devon Energy Production Co. LP. It bottoms at ,9586 feet and potentialed 3.202 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Will-Drill Production Co. Inc. completed the Sempra Energy Unit Well No. 2 and the Yellow Dog Gas Unit Well No. 1 in the Carthage Field. The No. 2 is located three miles north of Joaquin with a depth of 9,800 feet. This well was gauged on a 20/64-inch choke and potentialed 937,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 1 is located 2.6 miles northwest of Joaquin with a depth of 10,000 feet. It was gauged on an 18/64-inch choke and potentialed 1.219 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
In a lease five miles southeast of Tatum, in the Beckville, North Field, the Yarborough Gas Unit 1 Well No. 8 was completed by Chesapeake Operating Inc. It bottoms at 10,450 feet and potentialed 635,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Goodrich Petroleum Co. completed four wells. The Shaw, R.M. GU Well No. 3 is located 10.5 miles west of Tatum in the Beckville Field. It bottoms at 10,280 feet and potentialed 473,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation. The BR Baylor College of Medicine Well No. 1 and the BR Petty Well No. 1 were completed in the Savell Field by Burlington Resources O&G Co. LP. The BR Baylor College of Medicine Well No. 1 is located 4.6 miles southeast of Franklin with a depth of 16,050 feet. On a 14/64-inch choke, it potentialed 9.350 million cubic feet of gas per day. The BR Petty Well No. 1 is located 4.6 miles southeast of Franklin with a depth of 15,170 feet. When gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, it potentialed 13.524 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Bossier Sand formation.
Rusk County
The Maxwell Gas Unit Well No. 2 is located 1.3 miles southwest of Minden in the Minden, West Field. Enduring Resources LLC completed it to a depth of 10,966 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.538 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Rodessa Hill formation. It was transferred to the Brachfield, Southeast Field. When gauged on an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.759 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
In a lease 6.1 miles southwest of Tatum, in the Oak Hill Field, the Michael Kangerga Gas Unit Well No. 3 was completed by BP America Production Co. It bottoms at 10,544 feet and potentialed 3.217 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Newfield Exploration Co. completed the Minor, L.V. G.U. 1 Well No. 2 in the Oak Hill Field to a depth of 10,868 feet. Location is 3.1 miles southwest of Monroe. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 5,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Pettit formation.
Enduring Resources LLC completed four wells in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. The TXU Gas Unit Well No. 7 is located 1.4 miles northwest of Minden with depth of 10,820 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.181 million cubic feet of gas per day. The Tufco Gas Unit 1 Well No. 5 is located 1.8 miles northwest of Minden with a depth of 10,850 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 2.079 million cubic feet of gas per day. The Green Gas Unit 1 Well No. 3 is located 2.6 miles northwest of Minden with a depth of 10,910 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.027 million cubic feet of gas per day. The Maxwell Gas Unit 1 Well No. 4 is located 1.5 miles southwest of Minden with a depth of 11,100 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 450,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Energen Resources Corp. completed the Minor, A. Gas Unit Well No. 13 in the Oak Hill Field. Location is four miles northwest of Tatum with a depth of 10,757 feet. It potentialed 966,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 35/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
Shelby County
When gauged on a 0.3125-inch choke, the Jireh Well No. 3 potentialed 602,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 11.4 miles northeast of Center in the Joaquin Field. Red Rock Operating Inc. completed the well to 5,400 feet. Production is in the Rodessa formation.
The Pinkston Gas Unit Well No. 1 is located 2.1 miles west of Tenaha in the Tenaha, Southwest Field. It was completed to 7,105 feet by BRG Lone Star Ltd. On an open choke it potentialed 30,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
Smith County
In a lease 2.5 miles northwest of Arp, in the Overton Field, the Dyer Well No. 3H was completed to a depth of 14,688 feet by Wagner & Brown Ltd. It potentialed 9.418 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 1.75-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.
Van Zandt County
Omni Oil & Gas Inc. completed four wells in the Van Field. The St. Sixtus Well No. 1 is located four miles north of Van with a depth of 1,298 feet. It flowed with nine barrels of crude per day. Choke size not recorded. The St. Sixtus Well No. 2, the St. Sixtus Well No. 4 and the St. Sixtus Well No. 5 are located 2.8 miles north of Van. The No. 2 bottoms at 1,294 feet and flowed with 8.5 barrels of crude per day. Choke size not recorded. The No. 4 bottoms at 1,318 feet and flowed with nine barrels of crude per day. Choke size not recorded. The No. 5 bottoms at 1,271 feet and flowed with nine barrels of crude per day. Choke size not recorded. Production is in the Shallow formation.
