Around East Texas: Marvin UMC Sets ‘Price Hill’ In Free Concert
Marvin United Methodist Church, 300 W. Erwin St., will present the Austin-based band, “Price Hill,” at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The event is free.
The band seeks to build relationships with students, churches and other ministries, said information from Marvin UMC. The group members’ diverse musical backgrounds create a unique style of contemporary praise music with catchy melodies and lyrics from the heart. Their goal is to share the awe and wonder of God’s glory.
Doors open at 7 p.m.
The theme of the event is “Adventures With Jesus in Evangelism.”

He served for more than 30 years with Church on the Rock, International, the Church of God and the Pentecostal Holiness denominations.
“It’s a great honor to work with Senior Pastor Rudy Bond and the staff and congregation of New Life,” said Moore. Moore and his wife, Ann, have lived in Texas for nine years.
