MONDAY, JULY 21
  • TYLER —Smith County Commissioners, special meeting, 1:30 p.m., Courthouse Annex, 200 E. Ferguson St. Payment of bills; 1:45 p.m., discuss committee to evaluate meeting of performance goals.

  • TYLER — Smith County Council of Judges meeting, noon, Smith County Courthouse, 114th District Courtroom, 100 N. Broadway Ave. Discuss, consider and take action on report from Smith County judge and commissioners court on remodeling, construction and any improvements to the courthouse facilities, jail facilities, sheriff’s offices, Alternative Incarceration Center and probation offices.

  • WINONA — Winona ISD, regular meeting, 7 p.m., Administration Building.

  • LONGVIEW — Gregg County Commissioners, special meeting, 9 a.m., courthouse. Consider agreement involving Lear Park.

  • WINNSBORO — Winnsboro ISD, special meeting, 6:30 p.m., Westbrook Building. Consider publishing notice of public hearing to change tax rate from $1.04 to $1.17 per $100 evaluation.

  • MINEOLA — Mineola ISD, board workshop, 7 p.m., Administration Building, 1000 W. Loop, presentation by state Rep. Bryan Hughes; followed by regular meeting.


    • TUESDAY, JULY 22
  • GILMER— Gilmer City Council, regular meeting, 5:15 p.m. cancelled.

  • LONGVIEW — Longview Metropolitan Planning Organization, policy board meeting, 10 a.m. Metalf Municipal Building, 300 W. Cotton St. Discuss transportation study.

  • TYLER — Tyler ISD Board of Trustees, regular meeting, 7 p.m. Dr. Jack L. Davidson Conference Center in the Jim Plyler Instructional Complex, 807 W. Glenwood. Approval of emergency funds to correct hazardous drainage situations at Robert E. Lee and John Tyler high school varsity fields. Closed session at 6 p.m.


    • FRIDAY, JULY 25
  • LONGVIEW — TCEQ pubic hearing on new EPA ozone standard, 1 p.m., Longview City Hall, 300 W. Cotton St.


    • TYLER COUNCIL TV
    Tyler City Council meetings air at 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday on local government access cable channel 3. Tyler Planning and Zoning Commission meetings air at 3 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on the same channel.


    TISD TV
    Tyler ISD Board of Trustees meetings air at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month and are rebroadcast at 2 p.m. the following Saturday and 8 p.m. the following Sunday on TISD TV cable channel 19. Regular board meetings typically take place at the Jim Plyler Instructional Complex, 807 W. Glenwood Blvd.
