Salvation Army Needs Food Warehouse Volunteers

The Salvation Army: Food Warehouse Volunteers needed Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Volunteers need to be well organized and dependable! Legacy Hospice: Would you want to have a positive impact on someone’s life during a period of need? Legacy Hospice is always looking for compassionate, caring people to interact with people experiencing life ending illness or to assist in office activities. You could visit with patients in nursing facilities or at their homes providing assistance with simple tasks, shopping, or just talking and sharing time with them. CASA for Kids of East Texas: is seeking volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in court. Applicants must have a desire to help end the cycle of abuse and display concern for the well-being of all abused children. CASA volunteers are the eyes and ears of the courtroom and are very instrumental in the process of determining permanent placement for hundreds of local children. Heart to Heart Hospice: We Need You To Be Our Volunteer! Our patients are waiting for you to visit. Cancer Foundation for Life (CFFL): needs enthusiastic, caring volunteers to be an integral part of our program. CFFL is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for persons living with cancer and other chronic conditions by providing a physical conditioning (exercise!) and psychological support (friendship!) program. Volunteer opportunities include motivational support to our patients, assistance to clinical staff and office/clerical tasks.
