Longview's Sarran Tied For Fourth In Jimmy Demaret Junior Classic
AUSTIN — Longview’s Jordan Sarran tied for fourth after Wednesday’s final round of the Jimmy Demaret Junior Golf Classic at Onion Creek Club.

Brandon Reyna of Mission won the inaugural event in a playoff. The tourney is part of the Legends Junior Tour.

Reyna fired a final round of 68 to force a playoff with Tyler Holmes of Richardson (71-70—141) and Kevin Sooch of Austin (70-71). Reyna had a first round score of 73.

Reyna had a par on the first playoff hole to win the Boys 15-18 division.

Sarran (70-72—142) tied with Alex Ellis of Austin (68-74).

In the Boys 14 & under division, Colin Frizzell of Nacogdoches finished seventh with a 156 (80-76).

John Rafael of Corpus Christi won the division with a 145 (73-72).
