It all starts at 11 a.m.
The Old Timers Basketball Game consultants are Charles E. Booker and Charles Craddock.

Pre-Game activities will include performances by Old School Cheerleaders coordinated by Willie “Cookie” Garrison. This special event is being sponsored by the Tyler Chapter of Chums, Inc.
Chums, Inc. established in 1952, is a national non-profit organization that provides opportunities for women to meet in friendship and fun, to encourage a spirit of helpfulness, and to use their many talents in service to the community, according to event coordinator, Greta Moore-Dixon.
The organization, consisting of 52 chapters nationwide, promotes civic, cultural, educational, and social improvement.
The newly chartered chapter of the Tyler Chums continues its commitment to the Chums’ national theme, “Listen To The Children,” by promoting and educating positive change throughout the community.
One of the chapter’s service projects is “Kidz4Kidz,” a virtual community/forum in which youngsters may voice their opinions on such topics as drugs, gangs, parental issues, peer pressure, sexual abstinence, and school, Moore-Dixon said.
Admission to the games is $5 ($3 for children under 12 years).
