ACHIEVEMENT
Dr. Benjamin Wilson of East Texas Family Chiropractic in Tyler was approved for participation in the Preferred Chiropractic Doctor Program.

The PCD program designates membership to providers based on proven quality care, and it offers special fees and payment plans to patients who choose to take advantage of these benefits, Dr. Stephen Below, PCD president, said.

Dr. Wilson is a 2006 graduate of Texas Chiropractic College and is certified in acupuncture and kinesio taping.


PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Exceptional Home Care of Tyler saw the addition of two licensed vocational nurses.

Jennifer C. Lemley joined the EHC staff, said owner Deborah A. Tinsley.

.Ms. Lemley graduated from Tyler Junior Col-lege in 2004 and lives in Tyler.

Ms. Tinsley also announced the hiring of Osmond C. Onwuzu.

He is a 2005 graduate of Tyler Junior College and lives in Tyler.

EHC provides pediatric health care services to medically dependent children living at home in 44 North Central and East Texas counties.

Professional Landcare Network announced the membership of Aaron Martinez of Willow Brook Country Club.

The network provides educational and safety programs and features a national certification program to ensure that members have the knowledge and technical expertise to perform their jobs at the highest standards.

Dr. Sharon Evers, occupational medicine specialist for East Texas Medical Center First Physician’s Business Health, will give an overview of workers’ compensation and discuss what is new in the Texas workers’ compensation system during a meeting of the East Texas Human Resources Association, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at the East Texas Workforce Center, 4100 Troup Highway.
