July 8: Thoughtless Damage
RANT: I wish to thank the lady in the blue sedan who after loading her purchases from Wal-Mart on 64 west, between 11 a.m. and noon, decided that, being she was atop a steep hill, felt the time had come to set her cart “free.”
I thank you for the luxury of filing a claim, paying a deductible and visiting a body shop.
I really appreciate you giving me something to do with my time and money. Your kindness was so deeply felt.
Please recognize yourself and feel proud.
And roses to the Wal-Mart management, as my truck was struck by a “set free” shopping cart.
The guys at Wal-Mart eagerly reviewed the video and at least were able to assure me this was an act of stupidity and not meanness.
Although it is still hard to believe some people can be so negligent.
