July 6: Greatly Admired
RESPONSE: It was with disbelief that I read in Rants and Raves column that Norma Smith had been relieved of her varied duties and her presence at the Salvation Army because, I believe it was stated "a conflict with the Women's Auxiliary."

There may be a conflict with a small faction - but no one women in the auxiliary is more respected and admired than is Norma Smith.
