July 5: Disappointed
I am Republican and I support the Republican party but I am very, very disappointed in President Bush. He has failed America. The rich, poor, middle class. Everyone. Now what? Our president has been sitting on his hands with the U.S. economy for the past two years. His father did the exact same thing his last two years in office. Don’t believe me, research it. The government has spent all their efforts “repairing” other countries while America dwindles. The U.S. dollar is suffering. It’s no wonder that oil is $143 a barrel — in U.S. dollars. That’s why it costs us so much. The value of our dollar is pathetic.

President Bush has focused all his efforts on the war and in turn has neglected our economy. Has he heard of multitasking? We need to get out of Iraq. Repair our foreign policy. Make our name good again with the rest of the world. Keep our noses out of the everyone’s business.

It is proven that when America is strong, the world is strong. Where are we now? Republicans cry out, “Well, at least we are safe. We haven’t had one attack since 9/11.” I am very thankful to Bush for this. But, again, has he heard of multitasking?

Save our economy Bush! Oh, wait ... that’s going to be the next president’s responsibility. I don’t see why anyone would want to come into office after Bush. They have an enourmous mess to clean up. Only time will tell if they can.
