Businesses, Services Alter Hours For Holiday
Today is the Fourth of July holiday. Many businesses and service providers alter schedules to observe Independence Day.
The Tyler Paper is published today. To report a delivery problem, call the circulation department at 903-597-1121.
City of Tyler offices, including water utilities, Tyler Public Library and Tyler Transit, are closed.
Federal and state offices are closed. No mail is picked up or delivered and post offices are not being manned.
Mail delivery will resume on Saturday. However, Tyler post office retail lobbies will remain closed on Saturday. Postmaster Fred Arrambidez said closing lobbies will give retail employees more time to spend with families during the holiday weekend.
Most banking institutions are closed today.
Tyler Museum of Art and Discovery Science Place are closed. The museums will resume regular hours on Saturday. Caldwell Zoo is open.
