Tyler Federal Grand Jury Indicts 4
A Tyler federal grand jury issued four indictments this week, one involving a Pittsburg man charged with producing and trading child pornography.

  • Lawrence Reynolds, 40, was indicted for production, transportation, receipt and possession of child pornography. If convicted, he could face 15 to 30 years in prison.

  • From January 2006 through November 2006, Reynolds allegedly produced and traded child pornography images on his computer, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

  • Trampas Stanley, 33, Linden, was indicted for disposing of mortgaged property. He faces at least five years in prison.

  • On three separate occasions in 2005 and 2006, Stanley allegedly converted proceeds from the sale of timber deeds and harvested tracks of timber — located in Morris, Cass and Bowie counties — to his own use. He had previously pledged the property as security on a line of credit he had established at the credit association in New Boston, accord to a prepared statement by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

  • Patrick Neil Womack, 34, was indicted for mailing threatening communications. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted,

  • Shane Powers, 25, was also indicted for mailing threatening communications and faces 10 years.
