Pleasant Hill Baptist Plans Fireworks Display
The Pleasant Hill Baptist Church is scheduled to host a free fireworks display on Friday at the church, 13590 Texas Highway 110 South, just outside the Tyler city limits, event spokesperson Jan Wood said.

Free hotdogs, chips and drinks will be available, beginning at 7 p.m., for those who want to attend “one of the largest ‘free’ fireworks displays in the Tyler area,” Ms. Wood said.

Some children’s activities will be available, starting at 7:30 p.m. in the “KidStreet” building. The fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.

Those who want to sit while watching the display should plan to bring folding chairs.

In case of rain, the fireworks display will be rescheduled at a later date.

The church has hosted this event for several years as a gift to the Tyler-area communities, Ms. Wood said.
