Recently you have published several letters regarding the actions of the Supreme Court & Guantonamo Bay. The anguish & frustration should be placed at the feet of the Bush Administration who created this terrible situation. It was they who brought these suspects to the American stronghold.

The majority of these men & boys were not involved in a war against the US. More than 300 of the boys were under the age of 15.

Three of these boys died while in captivity. Seymour Hersh, a journalist went to Guantonamo and interviewed some of the boys and found one crying.

He asked the boy what was wrong and he said, tomorrow’s my birthday and I want to go home. Seymour ask he how old he would be and he said “12”.

I am a lifelong member of a Protestant Church and one my degrees is from a Christian College. I do not understand the attitude of the Tyler-area people who believe that it is OK to kill other people.

I would urge people to get someone to interpret the Bible for them.
