REPLY: Pardon my French, but who do you think you are, Reverend Pisano? Honestly, the gall you have to make such outlandish statements and cover it up with religous theology.

I can't stand "people of the cloth" that get away with statements such as yours and then end it with some good ol' scripture. It is shameful. I hope you are not anyone's spiritual leader.

Every city in America has serious issues - Morgantown, W.Va., is no different. You had over 109 violent crimes in 2005 alone with a population of only 28,000 people. I am sure that it has only increased since then. Mineola is handling these disgusting crimes and all of those found guilty will spend the rest of their lives in prison. It is not a reflection of East Texas as a whole.

Take a look in your own backyard before you drive through East Texas and point your judgmental finger at us.

Honestly, it is a sad time for the town of Mineola and your letter was just so helpful and uplifting.

Reverend Pisano. rest assured, you are not a stranger to East Texas just strange. I know that there are plenty of East Texans who would welcome you into their homes and churches and say "forgive and forget" - not me. Stay put.
