June 24: No Sympathy For Ticket
REPLY: To the man who wrote in complaining about his friend being ticketed for parking in a designated space, He broke the law, so now he pays the fine. In my opinion that's getting off easy, anyone using those spaces illegally night or day should have their cars or etc. towed off and fined $500.
As for you, your rant shows no respect for the disabled or handicapped.
We deal with people taking up these spaces every day. They are there to make our lives independent, free to enjoy ourselves and make our family's lives easier. The disabled cards are the tool that provides this use. It should not be used by anyone, except who it belongs to that person must be with the card when being used.
And, if someone is caught using a disabled card illegally they should be towed and fined, since they used the space illegally.
These spaces and cards are not a special favor. They are a necessary need to make life a little better for those of us who truly need them.
So, I say to you with your big mouth open, stick your big foot in it.
