Building Permits
The city of Tyler issued 60 building permits, for $9.7 million in estimated construction valuation, during the week of June 1-7.

Through April, the city issued 2,297 permits for an estimated valuation of $116.19 million. Through April 2007, it issued 2,290 permits for an estimated valuation of $77.36 million.

  • Christ Episcopal Church, 18 S. Bois D’Arcy Ave., four-story addition, 25,568 square feet, $4.8 million.

  • Tyler Junior College, 1327 S. Baxter Ave., parking lot, $280,000.

  • J.P. Morgan Chase Bank NA, 6825 S. Broadway Ave., 3,165 square feet, $750,000.

  • Thomas Lusty, 4136 Chandler Highway, 1,500 square feet, $19,500.

    • COMMERCIAL REMODEL

  • Infinity Tire & Accessories Inc., 1609 W. Gentry Parkway, $7,000.

  • Metro PCS, 516 E. Front St., $6,000.

  • Metro PCS, 5503 S. Broadway Ave., $6,000.

  • Grace Community Church, 3001 University Blvd., 137,000.

  • Fred Lola, 514 W. 24th St., $17,000.
