Tylerite To Compete At The National Forensics League National Tournament
Michael Walter (left) has qualified for the second year in a row for the National Forensics League national tournament to be held in Las Vegas this summer. Michael will compete in Lincoln-Douglas Debate among a field of more than 250 debators from across the country, Guam and Puerto Rico. He is the son of Scott and Vicki Walter, of Tyler. His coaches are Janie and Bill McGoff (also pictured) and they will accompany him to the tournament. Ms. McGoff will retire this year from Robert E. Lee High School.
