XTO To Drill Chronister Wells In Cherokee

DEVELOPMENTAL
Cherokee County

  • XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Chronister Heirs Well No. 34 and the Chronister Heirs Well No. 32 in the Doyle Creek (Travis Peak) Field. Total depth of both wells will be 12,800 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-15. The No. 34 will be drilled 7.7 miles southeast of Alto and the No. 32 will be drilled eight miles southeast of Alto. These wells may also be drilled in the Doyle Creek (Pettit) Field.

  • The Armstrong D Well No. 2 will be drilled 21.2 miles northwest of Rusk in a wildcat field by Wagner Oil Co. This well will be drilled to 12,700 feet in the Jones, J T Survey, A-473. It may also be drilled in the Overton (Cotton Valley Sand) Field.

  • The Chronister Heirs Well No. 33 and the Chronister Heirs Well No. 35 will be drilled by XTO Energy Inc. in the Doyle Creek (Travis Peak) Field. These wells will bottom at 12,800 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-15. The No. 33 will be located eight miles north of Wells and the No. 35 will be located 7.8 miles southeast of Alto. They may also be drilled in the Doyle Creek (Pettit) Field.

  • Cordillera Texas LP will drill the Temple-Eastex G.U. No. 3 Well No. 2 in the Southern Pine (Travis Peak) Field, 14.6 miles southwest of Rusk in the Fulgham, G T W Survey, A-1040. It will bottom at 11,300 feet.

  • Angelina County

  • The Estes Well No. 2H will be drilled four miles northeast of Wells in the Loco Bayou (James Lime) Field. It will bottom at 13,500 feet, drilled by Goodrich Petroleum Co., and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • Goodrich Petroleum Co. will drill the Sneed, C.W. GU 1 Well No. 3 to 13,500 feet in the De La Garza, J Survey, A-15. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field. Location is 1.7 miles southeast of Wells in the Raintree (Hosston) Field.

  • In a lease 2.34 miles northeast of Pollock, in the Raintree (Hosston) Field, the Mims Gas Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas Inc. It will bottom at 13,500 feet in the Durst, J Survey, A-201. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Raintree (Pettit) Field.

  • Freestone County

  • The Worthy "A" Unit Well No. 5 will be drilled by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The well will be located 2.1 miles south of Donie in the Connelly, I Survey, A-117 and will bottom at 15,000 feet. It may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field.

  • XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Winfree Gas Unit Well No. 24 and the Kirsch Gas Unit Well No. 20 in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 24 will be located 4.8 miles southeast of Teague in the O'Neal, F Survey, A-728. The No. 20 will be located 4.6 miles northeast of Teague in the Mc Annulty, J Survey, A-409. Both wells will bottom at 13,000 feet.

  • In a lease 4.2 miles southwest of Butler in the Dowdy Ranch (Cotton Valley) Field, the Olajuwon "A" Well No. 2 will be drilled by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. It will bottom at 16,000 feet in the Telano, A Survey, A-605.

  • The McMichael B Unit Well No. 4 will be drilled 1.9 miles southwest of Fairfield in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field by Hunt Petroleum Corp. It will bottom at 12,600 feet in the Reed, I H Survey, A-23.

  • Harrison County

  • The Gulley Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 16, the Gulley Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 17, the Gulley Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 18, the Gulley Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 19 and the Gulley Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 20 will be drilled 3.1 miles northeast of Crossroads in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP will drill the wells to 14,000 feet in the Cellum, J Survey, A-145.

  • Sandridge Exploration and Production, LLC will drill the SWEPCO Gas Unit Well No. 8 and the Rollie C. Sims Gas Unit Well No. 13 in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. The No. 8 well will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Little, W Survey, A-397. Location will be 3.76 miles southeast of Hallsville. The No. 13 well will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Sorrell, J M Survey, A-645. Location will be 7.6 miles southeast of Hallsville.

  • In a lease 10 miles south of Marshall in the Darco, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field, O'Benco will drill the Meek Haynes Unit Well No. 8 to 12,000 feet in the Carrol, E Survey, A-135. It may also be drilled Blocker (Page) Field, a wildcat field, the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field, the Blocker (Travis Peak) Field or the Blocker (Rodessa) Field.

  • The V.G. Rogers Well No. 2 will be drilled five miles southwest of Marshall in the Woodlawn, Southwest (Cotton Valley) Field. Forest Oil Corp. will drill the well to 11,500 feet in the Roger, M L Survey, A-610 and may also be drilled in the Woodlawn, Southwest (Pettit 6650) Field.

  • A wildcat field will see the Whittaker Well No. 5H drilled seven miles southwest of Marshall. NFR Energy LLC will drill the well to 11,000 feet in the Blankenship, L B Survey, A-71. It may also be drilled in the Blocker (Cotton Valley) Field or the Woodlawn, Southwest (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • Riverstone Energy Operating LLC will drill the Rudd Well No. 1A in a wildcat field. It will be located 8.1 miles north of Waskom in the McMillan, J Survey, A-486 with a depth of 9,450 feet. It may also be drilled in the Longwood (Rodessa) Field, the Longwood (Travis Peak) Field, the Longwood (Cotton Valley) Field or the Longwood (Rudd Pettit) Field.

  • The LeTourneau GU 3 Well No. 18H will be drilled by Anadarko E&P Co. LP in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. It will bottom at 12,000 feet 15.8 miles southwest of Carthage and lie in the Dyson, I Survey, A-217.

  • The Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field will see the McKenzie Gas Lease Well No. 1H and the Furrh, Gail Well No. 11H drilled by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP. The No. 1H will be located 10.7 miles northeast of Marshall in the Payne, W H Survey, A-550 and will bottom at 14,000 feet. The No. 11H will be located 2.3 miles northwest of Elysian Fields and will bottom at 13,000 feet. Both wells may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • Forest Oil Corp. will drill the Beatrice Key Gas Unit Well No. 4 in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will bottom at 11,500 feet in the Craine, J B Survey, A-144. It will be located 4.17 miles northwest of Karnack and may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • The Turner Well No. 1 and the Turner Well No. 2 will be drilled in the Panola Field by Evergreen Operating Co. Ltd. The No.1 will be drilled in a lease 20.4 miles southeast of Marshall. The No. 2 will be drilled in a lease 20.3 miles southeast of Marshall. These wells will be drilled to a depth of 2,550 feet in the Harrison, J H Survey, A-329.

  • Penn Virginia Oil & Gas Inc. will drill the Furrh Gas Unit No. 3 Well No. 9 and the Furrh, Gail Well No. 12 to a depth of 13,000 feet. The No. 9 will be located 5.9 miles southwest of Elysian Fields in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field. It will lie in the Pearce, E Survey, A-577. The No. 12 will be located 2.3 miles northwest of Elysian Fields in a wildcat field. It will lie in the O'Neal, F Survey, A-527 and may also be drilled in the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field or the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • GMX Resources, Inc. will drill the Heisman Well No. 6 and the Callison Well No. 3A. The No. 6 will be drilled eight miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field in the Earle, D Survey, A-235. Total depth will be 11,800 feet. It may also be drilled in the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field, the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field or a wildcat field. The No. 3A will be drilled 11 miles southeast of Marshall in the Bethnay (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field in the Smith, Wm. Survey, A-21. Total depth will be 7,000 feet and it may also be drilled in the Bethany (Pettit 6170) Field or a wildcat field.

  • Leon County

    The F.G. Winters Well No. 1 will be drilled 5.4 miles southeast of Marquez in the Rains, R Survey, A-758. EnCana Oil & Gas Inc. will drill the well to a depth of 19,500 feet in the Hilltop Resort (Bossier) Field.

    Limestone County

    The Rickard Gas Unit Well No. 15 will be drilled by O'Benco Inc. in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well will be located 14.6 miles northwest of Jewett with a depth of 13,700 feet. It will lie in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-4 and may also be drilled in the Freestone (Travis Peak) Field, a wildcat field or the Navasota (Pettit) Field.

    Marion County

    The Stiles Trust Well No. 2 will be drilled one mile west of Gray in a wildcat field. Winchester Production Co. Ltd. will drill the well to 11,500 feet in the Graham, R Survey, A-168.

    Nacogdoches County

  • In a lease 2.1 miles northwest of Garrison in the Naconiche Creek (Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the McDuffie Gas Unit Well No. 13 will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating Inc. The well will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Acosta, J J Survey, A-65 and may also be drilled in the Naconiche Creek (Cotton Valley) Field or a wildcat field.

  • EOG Resources Inc. will drill the Adams "A-1" Gas Unit Well No. 10 and the Lee "E-1" Gas Unit Well No. 4 in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field. The wells will bottom at 10,200 feet. The No. 10 will be located 3.2 miles northwest of Garrison in the Acosta, J J Survey, A-65. The No. 4 will be located 3.1 miles southwest of Garrison in the Castro, M D Survey, A-133.

  • The H.A. Deloney "A-1" Gas Unit Well No. 6 will be drilled 2.7 miles southwest of Garrison in the Appleby, North (Travis Peak) Field. Depth will be 10,000 feet in the Acosta, J J Survey, A-65. Operator is EOG Resources Inc. The well may also be drilled in the Appleby, North (Pettit) Field.

  • Panola County

  • The Jernigan, Mattie Well No. 18 will be drilled 9.7 miles northeast of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Nicholson, A T Survey, A-518.

  • In a lease 5.8 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley), the CGU 27 Well No. 15 will be drilled by Anadarko E&P Co. LP. It will bottom at 11,000 feet in the Lindsey, C Survey, A-386.

  • AC Exploration LLC will drill the Zelma Austin Well No. 2 12.1 miles southwest of Carthage in a wildcat field. The well will be drilled to 12,000 feet in the Williams, J W Survey, A-744. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Cotton valley Consolidated) Field, the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field, the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field, the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field, the Carthage (Rodessa) Field or the Carthage (Pettit, Lower) Field.

  • The Frost Gillaspy Well No. 6H and the Caudle, Dahlia O. Unit 1 Well No. 13 will be drilled in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field by Anadarko E&P Co. LP. The No. 6H will be located 10.1 miles southeast of Carthage in the Gillaspy, G Survey, A-222. The No. 13 will be located 4.8 miles southeast of Carthage in the Anderson, B Jr. Survey, A-7.

  • Robertson County

  • The Pauline Johnson Unit Well No. 5 will be drilled six miles north of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will bottom at 15,300 -feet in the Goodloe, R K Survey, A-156.

  • Red Willow Production LLC will drill the Emil No. 2 Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will bottom at 18,200 feet in the De La Concepcion Marquez, M Survey, A-25. Location will be 5.4 miles northeast of Marquez.

  • In a lease 2.4 miles southeast of Franklin, in the Savell (Bossier Sand) Field, the T-Bar-X/Sorrels Gas Unit Well No. 3 will be drilled by Burlington Resources Oil & Gas Co. LP. It will bottom at 16,100 feet in the Erwin, J Survey, A-142.

  • The John Amoruso (Bossier) Field will see the McLean E Well No. 3 and the S. McLean E Well No. 5 drilled by EnCana Oil & Gas Inc. The wells will bottom at 19,000 feet. The No. 3 will be located 10 miles northeast of Franklin in the Pereira, P/Grande, J & M Survey, A-32. The No. 5 will be located 7.5 miles east of Franklin in the Viesca, J M Survey, A-46.

  • EnCana Oil & Gas Inc. will drill the McCullough "B" Well No. 3 in a wildcat field and the McLean A Well No. 4 in the John Amoruso (Bossier) Field. They will bottom at 17,500 feet in the Pereira, P/Grande, J & M Survey, A-32. The No. 3 well will be located 12.6 miles southwest of Franklin. The No. 4 well will be located 10.3 miles east of Franklin.

  • The W S Armstrong Well No. 1 will be drilled 7.6 miles southeast of Franklin in a wildcat field. Chesapeake Operating Inc. will drill the well to 18,000 feet in the Eaton, S H Survey, A-10. It may also be drilled in the Ici (Georgetown) Field or the Savell (Bossier Sand) Field.

  • Rusk County

  • The Ras Redwine Well No. 3 will be drilled 6.1 miles east of Henderson in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field by Chinn Exploration Co. The well will bottom at 11,250 feet in the Piburn, J Survey, A-28.

  • In a lease 2.7 miles northwest of Tatum, in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field, the Williamson Unit Well No. 12 will be drilled by Energen Resources Corp. It will bottom at 11,000 feet in the Logsdon, J Survey, A-484.

  • NFR Energy LLC will drill the Odom Well No. 1 and the Green Unit Well No. 1 in a wildcat field. The Odom Well No. 1 will bottom at 13,000 feet nine miles south of Henderson in the Reel, D Survey, A-31. This well may also be drilled in the Henderson, East (Cotton Valley) Field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field. The Green Unit Well No. 1 will bottom at 12,000 feet 3.3 miles northeast of Henderson in the YBarbo, J J Survey, A-880. It may also be drilled in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

  • The Birdwell Gas Unit Well No. 6 will be drilled 2.2 miles northwest of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field by Enduring Resources LLC. This well will bottom at 11,500 feet in the Del Rio, S Survey, A-34. This well may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • The Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field will see the E.H. Pepper Gas Unit Well No. 15 drilled by Samson Lone Star LLC. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Simpson, D Survey, A-37 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field. Location will be four miles southwest of Easton.

  • SandRidge Onshore LLC will drill the Spikes Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 18 in the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will bottom at 14,000 feet in the Peck, S R Survey, A-620. Location will be 4.9 miles southeast of Henderson. This well may also be drilled in the Minden (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • In a lease 5.5 miles southeast of Elderville, in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field, the Sooner Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 12 will be drilled by Verado Energy Inc. It will bottom at 12,000 feet in the Menchaca, F S Survey, A-527, and it may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • The KCR Timberland Ltd. Et Al Well No. 2 will be drilled by Machin & Associates Inc. This well will bottom at 4,150 feet in the Pleasant Grove Field. The well will lie in the May, G Survey, A-25 and may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Pleasant Grove (Shallow) Field.

  • San Augustine County

  • The Timberstar-Tartt Well No. 2H will be drilled by Southwestern Energy Production Co. This well will be located 1.6 miles north of Attoyac in the Angie (James Lime) Field with a depth of 7,700 feet. It will lie in the Garner, J H Survey, A-117, and may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Martinsville, Southeast (James) Field.

  • KT Operating Co. LLC will drill the BP Well No. 12 in the Brookeland (Austin Chalk, 8800) Field. This well will bottom at 9,105 feet in the Shannon, W T Survey, A-40. Location will be 16.5 miles southeast of Broaddus.

  • Shelby County

  • The Samford Well No. 6 will be drilled 6.05 miles southwest of Center in the Stockman (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will be drilled to a depth of 15,000 feet by Devon Energy Production Co. LP. It will lie in the Smith, J M Survey, A-673 and may also be drilled in the Stockman, South (Travis Peak) Field or a wildcat field.

  • In a lease 4.5 miles east of Shelbyville, in the Mei (Pettit) Field, the West Huxley Deep Unit GG Well No. 1H will be drilled by Newfield Exploration Co. It will bottom at 11,000 feet in the Simpson, B H Survey, A-635. It may also be drilled in the Huxley (6100) Field, the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field or a wlldcat field.

  • Smith County

    The Swann Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled by 3-T Exploration Inc. in the Lane Chapel (Paluxy A Sand) Field. This well will bottom at 7,000 feet in the Renfro, I Survey, A-800. Location will be six miles east of Tyler. The well may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

    Wood County

    The Willingham Well No. 2 will be located two miles northwest of Quitman in the Quitman (Sub-Clarksville) Field. SDG Operating Co. Inc. will drill the well to a depth of 9,000 feet in the Walters, A C Survey, A-609. This well may also be drilled in the Quitman (Kirkland) Field or the Quitman (Rodessa) Field.


    COMPLETIONS
    Freestone County

    The F.R. Hill GU 1 Well No. 19H has been completed in the Nan-Su-Gail Field by Devon Energy Production Co. LP to 14,850 feet, five miles northeast of Fairfield. On a 60/64-inch choke, it potentialed 21.342 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

    Gregg County

    The Julia Flemister Gas Unit Well No. 2 was completed by EXCO Partners Operating Partnership LP three miles northwest of Longview in the White Oak Field. Depth is 10,973 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 315,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.

    Harrison County

  • The Carthage, North Field has seen three additional wells completed by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP. The Bookout Well No. 9 is located 3.70 miles northeast of Crossroads with a depth of 10,025 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.464 million cubic feet of gas per day. The Gloria B. Frazier Well No. 1 is located 4.1 miles northeast of Crossroads with a depth of 9,921 feet. On a 20/64-inch choke, it potentialed 3.311 million cubic feet of gas per day. The Gulley GU Well No. 13 is located 2.20 miles northeast of Crossroads with a depth of 10,015 feet. It 1.089 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • On a 20/64-inch choke, the Meek-Haynes Well No. 6 potentialed 1.208 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 10.2 miles south of Marshall with a depth of 11,955 feet. O'Benco Inc. completed the well in the Darco, Southeast Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP completed the Lawless Rhoades Well No. 15 in the Carthage, North Field with a depth of 10,202 feet. It is located 4.4 miles west of Elysian Fields. On a 22/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.092 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Lockhart Well No. 2 was drilled by SandRidge Exploration and Production LLC. Location is three miles northeast of Hallsville in the Hallsville, Northeast Field. Total depth is 10,575 feet. On a 27/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.138 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Devon Energy Production Co. LP completed the Jim Davis, Jim Etal Well No. 11 in the Waskom Field. It is located one mile north of Waskom with a depth of 9,750 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 208,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • On a 22/64-inch choke, the Bonner Gas Unit Well No. 6 potentialed 817,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Location is 3.3 miles east of Hallsville in the Oak Hill Field. SandRidge Exploration and Production LLC completed the well to a depth of 10,610 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Houston County

    The Decker Switch Field saw the Davy Crockett Well No. 2 completed by XTO Energy Inc. It is located 4.60 miles southeast of Weches with a depth of 13,171 feet. On a 17/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.604 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

    Jasper County

    Anadarko E&P Co. LP completed the BP Black Stone A-520 Unit Well No. 1 in the Brookeland Field. Location is 5.1 miles northwest of Magnolia Springs with a depth of 18,528 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 18.188 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Austin Chalk 8800 formation.

    Limestone County

    XTO Energy Inc. has completed the Morton No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 20, the Beddingfield Gas Unit Well No. 9, the Standley Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 7H, the Jeff Thomas Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 14 and the Spence "B" Well No. 1. The No. 20 well is located 13.65 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone Field with a depth of 12,850 feet. It potentialed 2.688 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation. The No. 9 well is located 17.6 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Farrar Field with a depth of 14,802 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.791 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation. The No. 7H well is located 14.20 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Farrar Field with a depth of 16,032 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.688 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation. The No. 14 is located 16.50 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Farrar Field with a depth of 13,161 feet. It potentialed 1.010 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation. The No. 1 well is located 13.4 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Oletha, Southwest Field with a depth of 10,800 feet. On a 17/64-inch choke, it potentialed 203,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sand formation.

    Nacogdoches County

    The Grafton Well No. 2 is located four miles east of Looneyville in the Trawick Field. Samson Lone Star LLC completed the well to 9,592 feet. On a 22/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 2.866 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

    Panola County

  • The S.W. Wilcots Gas Unit Well No. 6 is located one mile west of Clayton in the Carthage Field. This well was completed by Preston Exploration to a depth of 10,130 feet. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 1.492 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

LP in the Carthage Field to a depth of 9,385 feet. Location is 4.6 miles northeast of Carthage. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Harleton Oil & Gas Inc. completed the Glaspie Well No. 7-A to a depth of 6,408 feet. This well is located 2.7 miles east of Clayton in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 456,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Pettit, Lower formation.

  • The Smith Et Al Well No. 2 and the Roquemore Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 5 were completed in the Carthage Field by Craton Energy Holdings III LP. The No. 2 is located 2.4 miles southeast Fairplay and completed to a depth of 10,100 feet. On a 28/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.392 million cubic feet of gas per day. The No. 5 is located 1.3 miles southeast of Fairplay. On a 28/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.389 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Robertson County

  • The Bald Prairie Field has seen the Blair, John Well No. 16 completed by Coronado Energy. This well is located 12.3 miles northeast of Franklin with a depth of 13,500 feet. On a 22/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.706 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • When gauged on a 19/64-inch choke, the TXU South Well No. 1 potentialed 2.800 million cubic feet of gas per day. Eagle Oil & Gas Co. completed the well 8.7 miles west of Bremond with a depth of 12,068 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Coronado Energy E&P Co. LLC completed the Blair, John Well No. 17 in the Bald Prairie Field with a depth of 13,465 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 949,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • The Hanhart Gas Unit Well No. 1 is located 4.50 miles west of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. XTO Energy Inc. completed the well to 14,790 feet. On a 14/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 190,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Rusk County

  • The Hinson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 12 was completed in the Henderson, East Field by Forest Oil Corp., 4.7 miles west of Henderson and with a depth of 11,330 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, it potentialed 911,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • On an adjustable choke, the Wilder Well No. 4 potentialed 1.105 million cubic feet of gas per day. Location is three miles northwest of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. Total depth is 10,900 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • SandRidge Onshore LLC completed the Spikes Gas Unit Well No. 9 in the Minden Field. This well bottoms at 10,930 feet, and it is 4.8 miles southeast of Henderson. On a 27/64-inch choke, it potentialed 3.206 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • The Texana GU No. 1 Well No. 3 was completed by Samson Lone Star LLC in the Trawick Field, 5.5 miles southwest of Mount Enterprise and with a depth 8,780 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 468,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • The Powell Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 8, the Powell Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 14 and the Spikes Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 11 were completed by SandRidge Onshore LLC in the Minden Field. On a 22/64-inch choke, the No. 8 well potentialed 2.198 million cubic feet of gas per day. The well was drilled to a depth of 10,840 feet and is located is 4.8 miles southeast of Henderson. On an 18/64-inch choke, the No. 14 well potentialed 2.219 million cubic feet of gas per day. The well was drilled to a depth of 10,950 feet and is located 5.2 miles southeast of Henderson. On a 23/64-inch choke, the No. 11 potentialed 2.516 million cubic feet of gas per day, with production in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • When gauged on an adjustable choke, the Tufco Gas Unit 1 Well No. 3 potentialed 1.103 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well is located eight-tenths of a mile northwest of Minden in the Brachfield, Southeast Field by Enduring Resources LLC with a depth of 10,875 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • In a lease 2.70 miles east of Henderson in the Minden Field, the Eastland Well No. 6, El Paso E&P Co. LP completed the Eastland Well No. 6. This well bottoms at 10,920 feet and potentialed 328,000 cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Forest Oil Corp. completed the Hinson Gas Unit 1 Well No. 11 and the Dollar Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 8 in the Henderson, East Field. The No. 11 is located 4.3 miles west of Henderson. It was completed to a depth of 11,235 feet and potentialed 546,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. The No. 8 is located 3.4 miles southwest of Henderson. It was completed to a depth of 11,050 feet and potentialed 650,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Shelby County

  • The Wm. Taylor Well No. 6 was completed by Classic Operating Co. LLC in the Joaquin Field. Location is 1.5 miles south of Joaquin with a depth of 8,939 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.700 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • On a 20/64-inch choke, the Dymke G.U. Well No. 1H potentialed 4.082 million cubic feet of gas per day. Hunt Petroleum Corp. completed the well in the Huxley Field to a depth of 13,224 feet. Location is 3.5 miles southeast of Neuville. Production is in the 6100 formation.

  • Smith County

    The Katherine Luscombe Gas Unit Well No. 3 is located 1.8 miles northeast of Noonday in the Noonday Field. Valence Operating Co. completed the well to 12,700 feet. It potentialed 2.575 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.
