Baker Hughes Donates $10K To Trinity Mother Frances ICU Fund
Baker Hughes company announced it donated $10,000 to help outfit and operate a new neonatal intensive care unit at Mother Frances Hospital.

The hospital is seeking to raise $1.3 million to establish the 12-bed unit.

“In recent years, community and philanthropic efforts at Baker Hughes have demonstrated our commitment to education and the welfare of children,” said Scott Schmidt, North American Region vice president for Baker Hughes. “Supporting the NICU here at Mother Frances Hospital is a natural fit with these activities. As our business grows in East Texas, we expect that Baker Hughes and its employees will continue to be involved in the community.”

Baker Hughes has five locations in Tyler with approximately 120 employees.

It provides reservoir consulting, drilling, formation evaluation, completion and production products and services to the oil and gas industry.
