Building Permits, June 1
The city of Tyler issued 54 building permits, for $1.58 million in estimated construction valuation, during the week of May 18-24.

Through April, the city issued 2,297 permits for an estimated valuation of $116.19 million. Through April 2007, it issued 2,290 permits for an estimated valuation of $77.36 million.

COMMERCIAL

  • Southern Oaks Baptist Church, 601 Amherst St., interior finish-out, two stories, 2,708 square feet, $85,000.

    • COMMERCIAL REMODEL

  • Tyler Independent School District, 331 S. College Ave., Caldwell playground, $161,500.

    • RESIDENTIAL

  • Joe Eakin, 4811 Richmond Road, addition, $80,000.

    • RESIDENTIAL REMODEL

  • Eleazar Lopez, 918 Fields St., $15,000.

  • Ruth Elmakiss, 2829 Bateman Ave., $2,948.

  • Pedro Cerda, 413 E. Houston St., $2,500.

  • Chad Hanna, 1119 Hudnall Drive, $25,000.

  • Henry Ray, 921 E. Eighth St., $472.

  • Barham Varham, 424 W. Lindsey Lane, $4,745.

  • Nina Smith, 318 E. 24th St., $1,095.

  • David and Carol Foote, 2706 Amy Lane, $4,918.

  • Jason Brimberry, 4701 Ponderosa Trail, $3,114.

  • Elizabeth Gamez, 3209 W. Jackson St., $8,000.

    • HVAC

    Twenty-eight permits for 213 units, $1 million.

    SIGN

    Ten permits, $174,020.



    DEMOLITION

    One residential permit and two commercial permits, $7,600.
